The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, September 1, tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will reveal a secret to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) – and an exciting launch party will begin with Sally as Adam’s date. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will also blast Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) for what she views as a betrayal, so let’s discuss all the drama.
After Sally takes Adam up on his offer to attend the Newman launch bash together, they’ll turn a few heads. Adam won’t mind the whispers and may even crack a joke about being two pariah peas in a pod.
A scandalous track record is something that Adam and Sally have in common, so it’s not surprising that they’ve connected and are clearly attracted to each other.
Of course, Adam will still be curious about Sally’s mysterious new plan. He won’t want Sally making any more trouble for herself, but Sally will insist this could be excellent news – both for her and for Newman Media.
Sally will finally spill about her desire to design Victoria’s wedding dress, but she’ll be bummed when she doesn’t see Victoria at the party.
It’ll feel like a missed opportunity to pitch her spectacular gown, but Adam won’t want Sally getting her hopes up anyway.
Adam will doubt that Victoria will let Sally handle such an important task after the way she went after Summer Newman (Hunter King).
Nevertheless, Sally will concentrate on her goal and will assure Adam that she has a few tricks up her sleeve.
Sally will intend to prove herself to Adam and just might surprise him with some positive results!
Naturally, there’ll be some Y&R party mayhem in the meantime. Phyllis and Sally have a heated confrontation coming up later this week, so that’ll become Sally’s more pressing problem to deal with.
As for Victoria, she’ll face off with Nick and deliver a warning.
Victoria may suspect Nick’s been helping Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) look into Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) past – or she’ll at least believe her brother’s in the loop.
Victoria will rip into Nick and make it clear that he needs to stay out of her impending marriage, so Nick may promise that he will.
It’s Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) who could be the real relationship troublemaker here, so Nick will likely point that out.
Victor will decide he needs to confront Billy about his digging and express his distrust – not that Billy really needs a reminder!
Even so, some conflict’s coming up between Victor and Billy. Victoria will hold out hope that her marriage will stay on track, but it’s easy to see the nuptials are doomed.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victoria will find herself single and brokenhearted eventually, so stay tuned.
