The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of April 26-30 teases that Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will stop by the penthouse to make a pitch to Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).
Rey will suggest using Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) as bait to score Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) arrest, but Chelsea will immediately reject that plan.
Chelsea will be appalled over Rey even bringing it up since it could be traumatizing for her son. Rey will fish to find out Chelsea’s true thoughts by talking about his consuming hatred for Adam.
Chelsea will make a statement that clues Rey in on her own Adam obsession taking over, so he’ll be on the right track in the investigation.
Afterward, Rey will decide it’s time to confront Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and demand some answers. The fact that Chloe’s keeping her distance from Chelsea right now should be telling.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Rey will grill Chloe, who’s bound to worry Chelsea’s dragged her into a mess she can’t wiggle out of.
Over with Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster), she’ll be rushed to the hospital after collapsing in the coffeehouse. Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will find themselves in familiar territory as they fear for their daughter’s life.
The stakes will be even higher when Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) reveals what the problem is – and it looks like what Faith needs is a kidney. Nick will soon offer to sacrifice one of his own if it means Faith can pull through this terrible ordeal.
Next, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will have some advice for Amanda Sinclair (Karla Mosley). He’ll reject the idea of Richard Nealon blackmailing a Newman exec – at least based on the fact that there’s no evidence.
Devon will feel like Amanda needs to look at other options, so a faceoff as Amanda pressures Victor for more information.
Victor will also come across a hint that leads him to believe he knows where Adam is staying. Look for Sharon to keep quiet about something tied to Adam, so she might know his whereabouts soon enough. However, Sharon’s priority will obviously be Faith and getting her through yet another medical crisis.
Back with Devon, Y&R spoilers say he’ll make a vow to Amanda. Devon may feel like he should promise to be there for Amanda no matter what she uncovers about her family’s history. He’ll love that they’re getting closer again and will hope it continues.
As for Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), he’ll make a startling connection. This could be some proof that Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) indeed caused this massive, coordinated attack on Jabot.
Kyle will think Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) and whatever idea she’s cooked up could be the key to ending Ashland’s reign of terror, but Summer Newman (Hunter King) won’t trust Tara at all. Although Kyle will work to defend Tara, Summer just won’t listen to his talk of how trustworthy she is.
After Summer mentions Tara has lied to Kyle before, Jack will seem suspicious as he works to find out more about Tara’s deception. As other Y&R news and updates emerge, we’ll fill you in.
