The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview for the week of January 11-15 tease that several Genoa City residents will face hurdles. For starters, there’s Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Phyllis will welcome Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) into her hotel suite for a meeting and hope he’s going to deliver the leverage she needs.
However, Kevin will suggest he doesn’t know what he was thinking. He won’t want to blackmail Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and will feel foolish for even considering the idea. It’s too risky and can only lead to trouble, so Kevin will insist he got rid of the flash drive.
Kevin will tell Phyllis that it’s gone for good, but Phyllis will still gain a big advantage in the week ahead. She’ll find a way to sink Victoria with or without Kevin’s help, so Victoria had better watch out!
In the meantime, let’s talk about Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway). Abby will be feeling a bit sick, so Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) will be concerned about his wife.
At some point, it’ll dawn on Abby that maybe this isn’t a bad thing. She’ll smile at Chance as she suggests there might be more to this than just being nauseous. Abby will hope she’s pregnant and battling morning sickness, so this may lead to a pregnancy test soon enough.
Unfortunately, Abby and Chance’s mission to have a baby isn’t going to be an easy one. Based on the hints Y&R’s offered so far, Chance and Abby are bound to encounter more obstacles.
As for Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind), she’ll spot Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and once again rip into him. Faith will point out that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) told her Adam was leaving GC, so she’ll wonder why he isn’t gone.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam will admit there’s been a change of plans, so Faith will snap at him to change them back. She won’t think Adam deserves to live in the same town with the people he’s hurt.
Faith will hope Sharon never has to see Adam again, but she won’t get her wish since Sharon will wind up bonding with Adam next week!
Until then, we should also address Amanda Sinclair’s (Mishael Morgan) tense situation with her birth mom. Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey) will reluctantly agree to start at the beginning and give Amanda all the answers she’s looking for. Sadly, Amanda’s going to hear some painful things and may be sorry she asked.
It’s possible Amanda and Hilary Curtis Hamilton (Mishael Morgan) were the result of Naya being raped. Then again, there may be another shocker that Amanda ultimately uncovers. Whatever the case, it seems Naya will be awfully cold to Amanda and will leave her bio daughter battling some tough emotions.
Later, Amanda will show up on Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) doorstep looking deeply distraught. She’ll embrace Devon as she cries, so this will certainly bring some close moments for Devon and Amanda. As other Y&R news and updates come in, we’ll be sure to fill you in.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say some gripping scenes are coming up, so don’t miss all the action. CDL will have tons of other sizzling Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news to pass along, so stick with us.
