The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of September 6-10 tease that Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) will deliver a shocking invite while Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) hidden agenda comes to light. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will also send out some mixed signals, so let’s talk about what’s ahead.
First, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will rely on Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to thwart Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) scheme to undermine Newman Media. As for Adam and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), they’ll need to reset their relationship a bit.
Adam might suggest they need to keep things more professional since he’s Sally’s boss – and Sally might agree since she doesn’t want to lose her job and fresh start.
Over with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), she won’t feel safe. Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) is still on the loose, so Mariah may not feel the sense of closure she needs.
Y&R fans know Mariah would love to see Stitch locked up, but it doesn’t look like that’ll happen anytime soon.
Of course, Mariah will continue to struggle with her separation from Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor, so she’ll need plenty of support from Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case).
As for Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway), it’ll be more important than ever for her to get in touch with Chance Chancellor (last played by Donny Boaz).
Now that Dominic has arrived, Abby will hope to notify Chance and convince him to come home to their son.
Unfortunately, Chance will remain MIA – and that’ll leave Abby frustrated as well as deeply saddened. Next, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will confide his complex feelings on fatherhood to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
Although Devon knows he can’t play the role of dad to Dominic, it’s hard since he still has that biological tie.
While Lily offers good advice, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will figure out some hidden agenda of Adam’s.
Over with Victor again, he’ll deliver a warning about Sally and what a troublemaker she is.
Sally’s motives will be questioned, but so will Adam’s when Victor confronts him about his poor decision-making skills.
Next, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will get a surprising invitation from Ashland while Victoria’s mixed signals become tough for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) to decipher.
Although Victoria will act committed to Ashland and this wedding, Nikki may sense that her daughter has reservations deep down.
Ashland will eventually receive an unwanted message that catches him off guard.
It sounds like Ashland’s past will come back to haunt him somehow, so he’ll have to work overtime to keep Victoria in the dark on the details of his shady history.
As for Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), he’ll confess to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) about what’s in his heart. That’ll involve a love declaration and some awkwardness for these exes.
Speaking of exes, Sharon will quiz Adam about another one of his former flames. She’ll fish to find out where Adam stands with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and if they’re really over for good.
