Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Alexander “Alex” Kiriakis will hit Salem with Robert Scott Wilson in the role. Sonny Kiriakis’ (Zach Tinker) brother will shake things up in a big way, so we should talk about Wilson’s character switch and what it means for DOOL.
If you haven’t heard by now, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) are going to sail off into the sunset together.
Days spoilers say Ciara and Ben are getting a “happily ever after” type of sendoff with their baby, so that’ll wrap up their arc for now.
However, you’re in luck if you’re a Robert Scott Wilson fan and still want him to stick around in some form.
Soon after Wilson makes his exit as Ben, he’ll return to Salem as someone else entirely.
There’s no official confirmation on who Wilson is playing just yet, but reliable insiders insist he’s indeed portraying Alex Kiriakis.
Alex has never been shown as an adult and can serve as a clean slate for Days to do whatever they want with.
If you’re not familiar with Alex’s history, he’s the son of Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) and Anjelica Deveraux (Judith Chapman) – though Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans) raised him. Of course, that makes Alex a half-brother to Sonny.
There’s a good chance Alex is going to come along and challenge Sonny for the Titan throne.
Wilson has been rocking some sharp business attire in behind-the-scenes photos, so Alex could potentially steal the CEO spot.
Since Wilson won’t be playing Ben anymore, that’ll free him up to find new love in Salem as well.
Alex will have plenty of options and should land in a steamy new romance eventually.
