Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Clyde Weston (James Read) may battle Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) over Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) baby. Has the devil met his match in menacing Clyde Weston?
This is an interesting situation because the devil’s used to having wicked people on his side.
That’s why things worked out for possessed Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) when she revived all those DOOL villains in the cemetery.
They were baddies out for revenge, so it was easy for the devil to convince them to do his bidding.
However, we have to consider what would happen if a Days villain pushed back against the devil’s plans.
Perhaps that’s exactly what it’ll take to finally defeat the devil for good!
Regardless, Clyde has a soft spot for his son and is definitely someone who values blood.
Clyde won’t like hearing that possessed Johnny is out to get his grandbaby and may resolve to do something about that.
Clyde might feel like he can outsmart the devil – and if anyone can, it’s someone as ruthless and conniving as Clyde!
We should note that James Read is back for four to five months according to SOD.
Days spoilers say Clyde will certainly take an interest in his grandchild and will reconnect with Ben soon enough.
Clyde may be EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feurriegel) prison cellmate, but he’s got a bigger story coming up that’ll involve some baby drama.
Since Clyde and Ben are on good terms these days, maybe Clyde could actually be a huge help.
Ben might realize he’ll have to fight fire with fire and evil with evil.
Clyde may not be all bad, but he’s got a sinister streak that could lead to getting the upper hand on possessed Johnny.
It’d be great to see Clyde come through for Ben and try to make up for all the years of abuse he put his son through.
Nothing could ever erase the pain of the past, but Clyde could at least help to defeat the devil and ensure that Ben’s baby will be protected.
That’d go a long way toward making amends for the sins of the past.
