Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Clyde Weston (James Read) and Nancy Miller (Patrika Darbo) could be gearing up for a wedding day disaster. Will Chloe Lane’s (Nadia Bjorlin) worst fears come true?
Nancy was feeling lost after her split from Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas), but Clyde offered a refreshing path forward.
From the get-go, Clyde was open about his time in prison and impressed Nancy with how he’d turned his life around.
Of course, Nancy also liked the fact that Clyde seemed like an honest “what you see is what you get” kind of guy.
That was important to Nancy since Craig had lied to her for so long.
Unfortunately, Nancy be overestimating the positive changes Clyde has made. After all, Clyde keeps landing in sticky situations due to criminal behavior – not to mention he threatened EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) family.
Nancy may think she’s marrying a total sweetheart, but she’s only seeing the parts of Clyde that he wants her to see. Chloe has good reasons to worry considering Clyde’s history as well as his recent brush with the law.
Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) is the one who dragged Clyde into more legal drama – and Clyde knows Nancy hates Leo, too.
It’s possible vengeful Clyde framed Leo with Sonny Kiriakis’ (Zach Tinker) stabbing ordeal.
There’s even a chance Clyde killed Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) depending on what secrets she might’ve uncovered.
Clyde is an easy character to cut that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) is gone, so he remains a reasonable murder suspect – or at least a suspect in Leo’s frame-up.
Regardless, it’s a bad sign that Nancy and Clyde are about to rush to the altar. That could mean that Clyde and Nancy won’t succeed in becoming husband and wife.
Instead, Days may be setting up another catastrophic wedding.
Those have become a common tale on DOOL, so Nancy and Clyde’s attempt to tie the knot may be next in line for mayhem.
Chloe will battle growing concerns after Clyde and Nancy get engaged.
Part of Chloe will no doubt worry that Nancy is making a huge mistake, especially the closer this wedding gets.
Nancy may indeed be setting herself for more heartache – particularly if Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) or perhaps Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) shows up to arrest the groom!
One way or another, this is probably going to turn into a classic Days wedding disaster. As other Days news comes in, we’ll offer more updates.
