Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that a new preview reveals Xander Cook Kiriakis’ (Paul Telfer) reunion with the real Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). These old flames will finally come face to face, so let’s talk about this exciting promo and a long-awaited moment.
Paul Telfer kicks off the preview video in character, so he plays Xander and recaps the tricky situation he’s facing.
Xander calls Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) the love of his life, but he’s quick to point out that Sarah used to be the love of his life – that is until she dumped him and left town for good!
The promo then features some snippets from scenes that haven’t aired yet.
Days spoilers confirm that the show will return starting February 21, but it’ll take some time before Sarah and Xander’s reunion plays out.
Nevertheless, that reunion is indeed coming. It’ll start with an island rescue before Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) calls Xander with some shocking news.
When Jack reveals that the woman who broke up with Xander was Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) in a Sarah mask, Xander will be floored.
Xander will sink into a chair as he tries to process the bombshell, but it won’t be long until he’s on his feet and racing off to see Sarah.
Days spoilers say Sarah will be back in Salem by then – and that’ll leave her in Xander’s path as he rushes out of the Salem Inn.
DOOL’s latest preview video shows Xander locking eyes with Sarah, but this reunion may take a tense turn.
Sarah doesn’t look all that happy to see Xander, so we have to remember she was drugged during her kidnapping.
Kristen has been feeding Sarah all kinds of lies about the danger she’s in, so it’s possible she told Sarah that Xander was a threat.
Regardless, Sarah never mentioned that she wanted to get back to Xander.
Sarah only said she wanted to return to the man she loved, so there’s probably a reason Days never let her bring up Xander’s name.
That could mean Sarah lost some of her memories or has been brainwashed somehow.
There’s a good chance Sarah believes she loves Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) or another guy, so that could certainly complicate things for poor Xander.
