Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Friday, October 7 Recap – EJ Proves Jake’s Signature Forged – Ava’s Marriage License Lie Exposed

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Friday, October 7, reveals that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) proved Jake DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) signature was forced, so Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) marriage license lie was exposed. Let’s talk about how all the DOOL action played out.

At the Kiriakis mansion, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) sought Sonny Kiriakis’ (Zach Tinker) help with Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein).

Since Alex was a jerk to Stephanie at the hospital, he wanted to make things right.

However, Sonny thought that Alex was obsessed and needed to accept that a hard no wasn’t a maybe.

Alex acted like the fact that they worked together was the problem, but Sonny pointed out that Stephanie didn’t like Alex regardless.

Although Alex considered firing Stephanie, Sonny warned that was sexual harassment and insisted Alex couldn’t quit either.

Instead, Sonny wanted Alex to accept this rare instance where he was attracted to someone who wasn’t attracted to him.

At Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) apartment on Friday’s Days episode, Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) was thrown over her suggestion that they should have a threesome with Alex.

Allie acknowledged that they were both still attracted to men and didn’t want them missing out on something that could mess up what they had together.

Chanel assured Allie that just because she was fluid didn’t mean she was missing anything.

After Allie and Chanel reassured each other about their commitment, they considered how they might go about recruiting Alex for this.

At Julie’s Place, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) bonded with Stephanie over the day’s work accomplishments.

Once they shared a bottle of Champagne to celebrate, Stephanie expressed concern for Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) since she was so sick.

Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) was worried about Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) as well, so that was another way for him to strengthen his connection to Stephanie.

At one point, Alex walked by and looked disheartened over Stephanie putting her hand over Chad’s in a close moment.

Once Alex brought takeout home to Sonny, he seemed distracted until a text from Allie and Chanel came in about wanting to see him.

Allie and Chanel got their glam on before Alex arrived wondering what was up.

Back at Julie’s Place, Chad talked about his visit to Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) grave and suggested he should put his recovery on the fast track.

Chad hinted about moving on with someone he already liked a lot and shared a kiss with Stephanie across the table.

At Paulina Price’s (Jackee Harry) campaign headquarters, Abe Carver (James Reynolds) gave her updates on Kate, Kayla and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) being seriously ill thanks to Orpheus’ (George DelHoyo) biotoxin.

Soon after, Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) showed up wanting to speak with Paulina alone.

After Sloan said she was in possession of evidence from a client that could derail Paulina’s campaign, Paulina hoped neither one of them were looking for hush money.

Paulina argued that all her dirty laundry had been aired, but Sloan revealed that this was about Chanel instead.

At the DiMera mansion on Friday’s Days episode, EJ was suspiciously nice to Ava and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) – even after they dropped the whole romance charade.

That left Johnny and Ava wondering what EJ was up to, but they privately insisted that they had each other’s back.

Johnny also reiterated his romantic interest in case Ava changed her mind once she grieved Jake.

After EJ went down to the cellar for wine, he came back up with the bottle and a gift for Ava.

It was Ava’s framed marriage license, so EJ explained that he took the liberty of hiring a team of handwriting experts.

Although Ava’s signature was a perfect match, Jake’s signature didn’t line up with the one he’d put down on other DiMera documents.

That meant it was a forgery and Ava was a fraud.

EJ told Johnny that his “good friend” Ava might be a consummate grifter and con artist, but he had it on good authority that she was no DiMera!

This marriage sham was all about Ava getting her grubby paws on Jake’s shares.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ava’s deception will lead to more drama, so stay tuned to DOOL.
