Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) could land in bed together. Will this be their response to Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) choosing other lovers?
Although Ava has been known to insult Jake, that’s mostly because she hates Gabi so much.
DOOL viewers have actually seen a few moments of connection between Jake and Ava in private.
It’s true that Ava used Jake’s mob past against him and helped Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) by offering up evidence.
However, Philip was the main one fighting so hard to take Gabi down with all that.
Besides, a little residual anger would just get Jake all hot and bothered anyway!
Days fans know how Jake and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) used to get turned on by betrayals and bickering.
Regardless, Ava’s plotting revenge on Rafe now that she knows he cheated with Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker).
Rafe’s on the verge of asking Nicole to be a real couple, so whatever’s left of Ava’s romance won’t last long.
Meanwhile, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) has vowed to make Gabi his – and what the devil wants, the devil gets in Salem!
That could mean Jake’s going to end up heartbroken and furious over Gabi upgrading to a younger, hotter DiMera model.
Jake and Ava could easily find themselves in need of comfort in the aftermath of all this.
It’s not like they have a ton of other love interest options anyway, so Days may let them fall for each other.
Even if Gabi’s moving on, a little part of her would surely hate seeing Ava with Jake.
It could also complicate things once the truth about Johnny’s demonic possession comes out.
Jake could easily become Ava’s new obsession and make life even more difficult for Gabi down the road.
Whatever the case, Jake and Ava may land in bed together – just two bitter hearts needing a little consolation in a mutual time of need.
Will Ava and Jake actually fall hard for each other? Could they at least have a simple hookup?
