Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) may reconnect with Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) and pay her a surprise visit after her TR Coates (William Christian) murder arrest. Let’s look at what we know so far and set up this likely reunion between friends.
For starters, Lani is about to reach her breaking point when it comes to her guilt over TR’s death.
Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) was willing to take the fall, but Lani won’t be willing to let her for much longer.
All those horrifying TR visions are certainly adding to Lani’s woes, so she won’t be able to live with this awful secret hanging over her.
After Lani makes a big and bold confession, she’ll have to face the music.
Lani will share her side of the story and hope that things go her way with DA Melinda Trask (Tina Huang), but she obviously won’t have a good feeling about it.
When has Trask ever gone easy on anyone, especially a cop who lied and let someone else take the blame?
While Lani’s awaiting news on her fate, she’ll get a visit from someone unexpected.
Days spoilers say an old pal will surprise Lani, so there’s a good chance it’ll be JJ.
Although you can never count out sneaky Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), it might be tricky for her to reach Lani in lockup.
Plus, JJ will return for some new scenes during the week of June 27-July 1, so it makes sense for him to interact with his former flame that he now considers a friend.
That’ll give Lani an opportunity to offer her condolences over Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) death and allow JJ to be there for arrested Lani, too.
While they have JJ back for this brief stint, they might as well let him reconnect with Lani and play up their history.
No romantic feelings linger here, so this should strictly be a support session between two exes who are both going through a difficult time.
