Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) may lock Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) back in the DiMera crypt. Johnny can’t let his grandma ruin the devil’s destruction, but that’s exactly what Susan will try to do once she figures out what’s going on.
DOOL fans know Susan had a premonition about Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) baby being in grave danger.
That led to Susan spilling her concerns to Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) – only to realize that possessed Marlena herself was the threat.
Marlena couldn’t let Susan rat the devil out, so she turned her into a cat briefly and locked her up in the DiMera crypt.
After Marlena warned Susan to kill John Black (Drake Hogestyn) or else EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) would be murdered, Susan stabbed herself in hopes of becoming the deadly sacrifice.
Of course, the only thing Susan loves more than her son is perhaps her grandson! There’s some great Days story potential here based on Susan and Johnny’s grandmother-grandchild connection.
During the week of January 3-7, Susan will show up on Marlena’s doorstep after having yet another premonition.
What will Susan’s vision or intuition tell her this time around? Susan is going to Marlena first rather than Johnny, so she won’t have all the answers just yet.
Perhaps Susan will start by realizing the devil’s reign of terror isn’t over.
Susan might try to get Marlena to believe the threat’s still strong. She might even sense that someone they both love is in terrible trouble.
Days viewers know Marlena is Johnny’s grandma as well, so that’s another family connection that the show can play up.
We might even see Susan and Marlena held captive together at some point.
Regardless, Susan is psychic and has proven herself on more than one occasion. There’ll come a day when Susan clicks the puzzle pieces into place and realizes Johnny is the devil’s new host.
Susan will no doubt fly into panic mode as she works to save her grandson from the devil’s grasp, but she may be thrown in the DiMera crypt before she can do much.
Perhaps EJ could determine that something’s wrong and save Susan before it’s too late!
