Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) may risk prison with a shooter confession and save Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) from Statesville. Lani can spare Paulina with the truth about who pulled the trigger on TR Coates (William Christian), so the guilt of this whole situation may push her to come clean.
DOOL fans know Lani was rattled in the aftermath of TR’s death. Although Lani took the “shoot first and ask questions later” approach, it didn’t work out well for her.
Lani ultimately realized she should’ve relied on all her training and followed police protocol. Instead, Lani reacted with her emotions – and that meant shooting her unarmed biological father.
TR wasn’t a real threat in that moment since he didn’t have a weapon in his hands and was scrambling to explain.
Lani pumped a fatal bullet in TR anyway, so she could get in serious trouble if the real story comes to light.
That’s why Paulina decided to take the blame, but Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) is already suspicious.
It looks like Steve will pass those suspicions on and leave Abe Carver (James Reynolds) thinking that Paulina’s side of the story doesn’t quite add up.
Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) knows Lani better than anyone, so Days spoilers say he’ll inevitably pick up on some strange behavior on her end.
Lani is a good person at her core and will certainly hate the thought of lying to everyone in her life indefinitely.
That’s especially true since Paulina will be paying the price for something Lani did herself. How long can Lani let all this go on?
It probably won’t be long until Lani cracks under the pressure and makes a full confession to spare Paulina.
Although Paulina will still face some backlash for giving the cops a bogus story, it’d be better than going down for TR’s murder.
Nevertheless, Lani has a lot to lose! Confessing will mean risking her own stint at Statesville and separation from the people she loves most.
The twins are counting on Lani to be a mom – and Eli needs his wife, too.
Lani’s career and life with her family will be on the line, but the guilt may become too much to bear.
Days spoilers say Paulina will fight hard to protect her biological daughter, but Lani may insist on owning up to her actions eventually.
