Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Wednesday, May 11 Recap – Ava’s Syringe Nightmare & Gwen Escape Route – Jake & Gabi Strike Deal

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, May 11, reveals that Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) had a syringe nightmare before offering Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) an escape route. Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) also struck a deal, so here’s how all the DOOL drama played out.

In bed at Jake’s apartment, Ava had a horrible dream about Gwen going after her with a syringe full of crazy juice.

After Ava woke up in a panic, Jake offered comfort and nearly kissed her before Gabi showed up.

Ava and Gabi did some of their usual bickering until Ava took off.

After Gabi got the latest possession updates on Wednesday’s Days episode, she revealed that she was there to un-oust Jake from DiMera Enterprises.

Jake thought there must be some catch, but Gabi argued that she truly wanted Jake back as an employee.

Since EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) was ready to cause trouble, Gabi felt she needed a DiMera on her side.

It took some convincing, but Jake ultimately decided he was willing to rejoin Gabi at the company – though they were clear about keeping things platonic.

In the town square on Wednesday’s Days episode, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) put names on a revenge list before paying Gwen a visit at the Salem PD.

After Gwen and Leo commiserated over their derailed weddings, Leo wanted to team up for revenge on Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn).

Gwen thought that sounded great except for the fact that she’d been arrested and was stuck in lockup.

Leo acted like Gwen could beat the charges, but Gwen didn’t seem as sure.

After Gwen mentioned whispering to Abigail about killing her grandmother on purpose, Leo wondered if Gwen really did.

Before Gwen could answer, Ava appeared. Gwen tried to kick Ava out – and Leo backed Gwen up since Ava was such a disloyal friend.

However, Ava convinced Gwen to hear her out, so that led to Ava apologizing and offering to bust Gwen out of there.

In Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) hospital room, Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) was reluctant to give her daughter the risky antidote.

Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Maggie debated the issue until Sarah suddenly became almost catatonic.

In the waiting area, Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) caught up with Abigail before Xander came running over for help.

After more tests, Kayla revealed that the drug had caused further decline – and she warned that things would likely get worse without the antidote.

Maggie finally approved the injection, so Sarah got the shot before Xander and Maggie waited for it to take effect.

Once Sarah seemed to become more alert, she looked at Xander and called him by name. That put a relieved and excited smile on Xander’s face.

At the Kiriakis mansion, Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) pushed Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) for an answer on whether he’d accept the Titan CEO spot.

Sonny decided that he would and filled Victor in on Leo’s revenge plot.

Later, Sonny bumped into Leo, who had seen the CEO announcement online and knew Sonny was sticking around.

Leo wasn’t going anywhere either, so his vengeful plans remained a lingering threat.
