Now Lucas has reunited with Sami, so they’re off living happily ever after – at least until it’s time for the next round of Days drama!

Sending Lucas and Sami off canvas for a lengthy period of time makes that a strong possibility.
Sami may further convince herself that Lucas is the perfect man for her – the one she can trust and the guy who’ll truly put her first.
Despite any lingering feelings for EJ she might have, Sami may decide Lucas is who she’s meant to be with and want to marry him to prove it.
As EJ settles into prison life and Lucas lets his guard down, it could lead to Lucas feeling comfortable enough to pop the question.
Lucas may think he’s going to get away with the kidnapping and hope to move forward with a “Lumi” wedding.
It just makes sense for Days to raise the stakes by having Sami and Lucas come home engaged.
If not, Lucas could at least propose to Sami once they’re back in town.
Regardless, EJ might receive updates on this engagement from Belle Brady (Martha Madison) and blow his top!
It could intensify EJ’s anger toward Lucas and make him more determined to get revenge once he’s a free man.
It’s not fair for Lucas to be living in wedding bliss while EJ’s stuck behind bars, so let’s hope EJ can get out in time to derail any potential nuptials.
