Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Monday, March 7 Recap –Sarah Thinks Xander Is Renee’s Husband – Gwen Solves Million-Dollar Problem

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, March 7, reveals that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) thought Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) was Renee DuMonde’s (Philece Sampler) scheming husband, Alex Marshall (Quinn Redeker). Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) also solved a million-dollar problem, so here’s how things played out on Monday’s DOOL episode.

At the DiMera mansion, the devil battled the real Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) again.

Possessed Johnny doubled over in pain, but the devil ultimately regained his strength.

Since the devil felt Johnny only cared about himself, he didn’t think he’d have a repeat of defeat – like when John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) enduring love drove him out of Marlena’s body.

Soon after, Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) spoke to possessed Johnny over the phone.

They confirmed they were moving ahead with their plans, so Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) overheard Gabi talking about him getting what he deserves.

Gabi lied that she meant Jake would be DiMera’s new CEO while Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) found Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) at the office.

Kate wasn’t happy about the DiMera shareholder meeting moving forward without Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) present.

Back at the DiMera mansion on Monday’s Days episode, Johnny got updates from Tony on Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) rescue.

Tony mistakenly assumed Johnny had a meeting with his movie producer, so Johnny rolled with it and headed out.

Next, the shareholder meeting got underway, which led to Gabi wanting to make a couple amendments to the proposal.

Gabi revealed that she wanted to put Johnny on the DiMera board instead of Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) and that she was nominating herself as CEO.

Johnny had control of EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) shares, but Kate still didn’t think that was enough to break the tie.

Kate was against Gabi’s latest rise to power along with Jake and assumed Li would vote against Gabi, too.

However, Li became transfixed by the devil’s power and robotically allowed the proposal to pass.

That put Gabi back on the throne and led to an argument with Jake about his recent betrayals, which Jake denied.

It didn’t matter since Gabi thought Jake was a liar, so she happily reclaimed the CEO role.

When Chad showed up to his office, Gabi made it clear that it was her office now. She already had her nameplate on the desk as she insisted she was in and Chad was out.

Back with Jake, he grabbed possessed Johnny’s arm during a confrontation and set him off.

Johnny’s eyes glowed yellow as he warned Jake to get his hands off with a deepened voice.

At the Salem PD, Gwen reminded Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) of all the secrets they were keeping for each other.

Ava felt like Gwen was dishing out veiled threats, but Gwen insisted that she would have Ava’s back as long as Ava had hers, too.

In a moment alone, Gwen wondered if things could get any worse.

When Ned Grainger (Chris Kalhoon) the pilot appeared behind Gwen, he noted that he kept her name out of it when he talked to Tony and Chad.

Ned insisted there’d be a price to pay for that and revealed that he wanted $1 million for his silence.

Gwen urged Ned to help her get Ava out of jail since she had access to the Vitali fortune.

At the police station again, Ava was surprised when Ned showed up disguised as her attorney, “Saul Goodman.”

Ned hinted about cutting Ava a deal and mentioned a plane, but he wanted to make sure Ava could pay his steep fees. Ava then assured “Saul” that he was hired.

In the town square on Monday’s Days episode, Sarah refused to answer to her real name. She assumed Xander was Alex, Renee’s conniving husband.

“Renee” ranted about wanting a divorce before dashing off to arrange one.

After calling Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) for the rest of the story, Xander confronted Sarah again and learned she’d found an attorney.

Xander tried to get through to Sarah by showing her one of his favorite “Xarah” photos, but Sarah didn’t recognize herself in the picture.

Sarah maintained that she was Renee and that the person in the photo must be the real Sarah.

Xander realized that Sarah saw Renee when she looked in the mirror and seemed frustrated.

Xander at least thought Sarah should talk to Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers), but “Renee” left in a huff.

While “Renee” returned to Tony with news about divorce plans, Gwen met back up with Xander.

Gwen wondered if Sarah wanted to pick up where she left off with Xander, so he admitted Sarah didn’t.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say some exciting developments are still to come in Sarah’s storyline, so stick with DOOL!
