Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) may blow up Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) secret. Will Paulina’s big mouth expose Allie and Chanel’s forbidden night?
There’s surely a reason why Days writers had Paulina witness Chanel and Allie’s passion erupting. Of course, that reason could simply be so Chanel has someone to confide in later – and Chanel will indeed open up to her mom about Allie during the week of January 17-21.
Paulina may admit she saw Chanel and Allie together following that disastrous wedding reception. Although Paulina probably won’t judge or blame Chanel for what happened, she’ll probably question whether her daughter might be setting herself up for more devastation.
After the way Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) broke Chanel’s heart, Paulina won’t want to see her baby girl get hurt again. Allie is committed to Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams), so Paulina will naturally worry about Chanel feeling like a second choice and perhaps feeling awkward in her friendship after crossing such a major line.
However, Chanel may insist this is how it has to be and swear Paulina to secrecy. Unfortunately, that doesn’t mean Paulina will be able to keep her loose lips from causing problems. There’s always the potential for Paulina to let something slip or perhaps talk a little too loudly around Tripp.
Eavesdropping is a common soap trope when it comes to secrets spilling – and it would make sense for Paulina to inadvertently blow this up. After all, Chanel was the one to expose Paulina’s secret at her wedding to Abe Carver (James Reynolds), so it’d be fun if Paulina exposed Chanel’s secret with Allie next – even by mistake.
There’s also the possibility of Paulina accidentally exposing the truth to Johnny down the road. Chanel might try to hide what went down with Allie and get her marriage back on track once she realizes Johnny was possessed.
Paulina could inadvertently derail that plan since she’s got such a bold personality and tends to butt into things. Maybe Paulina will be the reason Allie and Chanel’s forbidden steaminess is revealed in the end.
Bottom line, Paulina is now in possession of a dangerous secret – and she could easily be the one to unleash it if she’s not careful enough! We’ll bring you updates as other Days news becomes available.
