Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Steve Burton (Harris Michaels) made an exciting announcement involving a countdown to the Beyond Salem premiere. The second installment of the Peacock series is set to drop during the week of July 11-15, so Burton is helping to generate some buzz.
Of course, many General Hospital fans have missed Burton in Port Charles as Jason Morgan, but this is your chance to see the popular soap star in a new project.
Burton seems thrilled over this steaming series, which features him in a part he played back in 1988.
Steve Burton’s very first soap role was Harris Michaels, so this is a real blast-from-the-past character for him.
Harris and Hope Williams Brady (Kristian Alfonso) will apparently be gearing up for a wedding in Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem, but there’ll be some complex reasons behind it.
As for Burton’s countdown message, he talked about the kickoff for Beyond Salem being mere days away.
It’s almost time for some big adventures for some familiar faces, including some DOOL stars that viewers haven’t seen for a while.
“It’s gonna be awesome,” Burton said in a preview video shared on Days’ social media accounts.
“You got Bo, you got Hope, you got Paul, you got Kristen, you got the Johnsons and the list goes on and on…”
Burton added that fans would see him too and admitted he couldn’t express how excited he is to be part of this.

As Burton mentioned, Peter Reckell will be reprising his role as Bo Brady, who’ll plan a heavenly intervention when Hope lands in some trouble.
It’ll be great to see Reckell and Kristian Alfonso back for some supercouple “Bope” moments.
Christopher Sean will also return as Paul Narita along with Eileen Davidson as Kristen DiMera – though Stacy Haiduk will continue to play Kristen on the main show.
Lucas Adams will reprise his role as Tripp Johnson as well, so look for him to be joined by a recast Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) and a recast Joey Johnson (Tanner Stine).
Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) will visit all the Johnson siblings in Seattle for a fun family reunion that’s sure to come with some wild twists and turns.
