Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Thursday, January 20 Update – Johnny’s Invitation for Gabi – ‘Sarah’ Warns Xander

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Thursday, January 20, teases that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will have an invitation for Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) while Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) fears exposure. “Sarah Horton” (Linsey Godfrey) will also warn Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer), so secrets and shockers will make waves all over Salem.

Possessed Johnny’s got his eye on Gabi, who’s hoping to reel him in and gain more DiMera votes.

Between Johnny’s shares and the shares EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) transferred to him, Gabi and Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) could score the upper hand.

Jake and Gabi just have to play this correctly and get Johnny on their side.

Of course, Gabi feels like Johnny’s interest in her is something they can use to their advantage. It’s Jake who’ll battle some concerns about that in Thursday’s DOOL episode.

Jake won’t trust Johnny and will feel like Gabi might be setting herself up for trouble.

Gabi, on the other hand, will feel like she can handle whatever Johnny might throw her way. She may assure Jake that he’s the only man for her and promise anything that happens with Johnny will just be for show.

Gabi and Jake will be at the new-ish bar in town when Johnny pops up. Johnny may act like he’d prefer to talk business somewhere more comfortable – like back at the DiMera mansion.

Perhaps Johnny will invite Gabi over and push her to come alone.

Regardless, Gabi will indeed end up alone with Johnny for a make-out session and perhaps even more.

That’s coming up as the week winds down, January 21, but let’s talk about sad Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) in the meantime.

Chanel will sulk over Johnny dumping her out of the blue – and she’ll struggle to get what happened with Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) off her mind, too.

Since Johnny doesn’t want her and Allie’s in a relationship with Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams), that’ll leave Chanel feeling all alone.

Fortunately, Chanel will end up leaning on Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) within the next episode or two. It’ll be good for Chanel to open up about what’s in her heart and how she’s coping.

Other Days spoilers say EJ will ignore Belle Brady’s (Martha Madison) advice and put his future at stake. Belle will offer a stern warning about taking the witness stand.

Belle will think it’s too risky, but EJ will testify anyway – and that’ll leave him vulnerable to DA Melinda Trask’s (Tina Huang) vicious grilling.

Although Belle will try to keep EJ’s defense afloat, it’ll start sinking fast!

The judge is going to declare EJ guilty once this trial’s over, so Days fans should go ahead and start preparing for that outcome.

Until then, Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) will give “Sarah” and Xander some privacy at the Kiriakis mansion.

While Gwen poses as Sarah, she’ll warn Xander to drop his search and leave her alone.

“Sarah” will answer Xander’s questions as best as she can, but she’ll want him to get it through his head that they’re done forever.

Xander will be sorry for stirring up trouble and may assure “Sarah” that he was just worried about her. He’ll truly wish “Sarah” the best and will embrace her before she exits.

Xander will stare at a picture of Sarah in the aftermath and work on letting go. Despite Xander’s love for Gwen, there’ll always be part of him that loves Sarah, too.

It’ll sting when “Sarah” makes it clear that she was running away from him, but Xander will accept that Gwen is his future now.

That’ll be exactly what Gwen was hoping for. Gwen will rush back to her hotel suite while still wearing the Sarah mask, which is going to present a problem.

That’s because Abigail is on the verge of figuring out the impersonation plot.

At the pub, Maggie will show up and let Abigail know that “Sarah” is suddenly back in Salem.

That won’t make much sense to Abigail at first, but Kate Roberts’ (Lauren Koslow) will offer some intriguing clues and cause a lightbulb to go off.

After Abigail hears Kate’s story about how Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) impersonated her, she’ll realize someone may be impersonating Sarah now.

Abigail will end up cornering “Sarah” in the town square, so Gwen will struggle to keep that mask on as Abby claws at her face!

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Abigail and “Sarah” will have quite a showdown, so stick with DOOL.
