Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Wednesday, August 10 Recap – Johnny & Ava’s Naked Blunder – Sarah & Xander Steal Proof from Warden

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, August 10, reveals that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Ava DiMera (Tamara Braun) made a naked blunder while Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) stole proof from the warden.

At the Kiriakis mansion on Wednesday’s DOOL episode, Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) offered Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) a hangover cure and the VP position at Titan.

After Alexander “Alex” Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) waltzed in, he revealed that position had already been filled by him, so Sonny was upset over Alex’s secret meeting with Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston).

Next, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) mistakenly assumed a flower delivery for Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) was from Johnny and fumed over his continued pursuit. Chanel was forced to explain the flowers were actually an apology from Paulina Price-Carver (Jackee Harry).

After Chanel confessed Johnny’s recent plot, she also admitted Paulina considered helping him for a moment. Since Allie struggled to get the details out of Chanel, she decided to go confront Johnny herself.

At the DiMera mansion, Johnny was on the hunt for shampoo when he entered Chad’s old room. Ava had music on and couldn’t hear Johnny behind her, so she dropped her robe and gave him quite the view.

There was some awkwardness as Ava covered up and explained she moved in after marrying Johnny’s uncle. Johnny flipped out thinking Ava meant Chad, but she clarified that she was talking about Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) and hinted about EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) being after the shares.

Once Johnny walked toward the bathroom for the shampoo he came for, his towel dropped to the floor. Johnny was sorry about that, but Ava wasn’t and clearly enjoyed getting a view of her own.

At Jake’s old apartment, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) showed up looking for Ava and found Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) instead. Kristen was suspicious about the reason for Gwen’s visit, but Gwen refused to divulge anything incriminating.

Once Kristen was alone, she called Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) in hopes of hurrying along Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) awakening. Kristen insisted that Stefan couldn’t stay on ice forever.

Back at the DiMera mansion, Allie confronted Johnny and ranted over his immaturity following the breakup. Ava appeared and put Allie on full blast over how she treated Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams), so Allie was sorry for hurting him.

That said, Allie warned Ava that they needed to be careful around each other. Although Allie wanted Ava to be in Henry Horton’s (Clyde and Nash Gunderson) life, that couldn’t happen if Ava spoke to her this way. Ava understood and seemed willing to keep the peace for Henry’s sake.

Afterward on Wednesday’s Days episode, Johnny and Ava had some rather flirty moments on the sofa. Once Johnny headed back upstairs, he thought back to Ava’s robe drop and smiled.

In the town square, Alex cracked a joke to Chanel about Sweet Bits and how some naughty minds might react to that. After they exchanged introductions, Alex tried to ask Chanel out and faced resistance.

Once Alex assumed Chanel had a boyfriend, she revealed that they split up. Chanel said she had a girlfriend now and called attention to Allie as she appeared.

When Alex learned Allie was bi and Chanel was just herself, he seemed intrigued. Alex commented on what a beautiful couple they made and wanted to take them both out – his treat. Allie hesitated to accept the offer, but Chanel convinced her girlfriend to get on board with a free fancy meal.

Once Gwen made it to the DiMera mansion, she cornered Ava and sought reassurance that their secret was safe. Gwen wanted to make sure Ava would keep quiet about her escape from Statesville since they’d both get in trouble.

Ava wondered if Gwen was so concerned because she killed Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller), but Gwen denied it. In the end, Ava confirmed that she’d keep her mouth shut.

At Statesville on Wednesday’s Days episode, Xander posed as a priest named Father Callum O’Brien. The warden (Cassandra Relynn) was willing to meet with “Father Callum” about a program to help prisoners, but Sarah created a distraction.

Once the warden was called away, that gave Sarah the chance to enter and download the records that could help prove Gwen escaped. Sarah got turned on by Xander’s priest collar while they waited, so the warden found the two of them kissing.

Xander babbled on about “Mary Francis” having impulse control problems while Sarah secretly snatched the thumb drive, which now contained the records.

Once Sarah and Xander dashed off, they wound up back at their hotel suite. Xander and Sarah then looked over the prison files, which brought confirmation that Gwen vanished for several hours on the night Abigail was killed.

There was also a record of Gwen’s phone calls – including one to Ava, who visited her the day after the murder. It all added up to Ava flexing her mob power to help Gwen, so Sarah and Xander felt she could help prove Gwen was guilty.
