Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, August 17, tease that Stephanie Johnson’s (Abigail Klein) homecoming will stun Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) while Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) find proof in the murder case. Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will also pressure Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart), so let’s talk about what’s ahead on DOOL.
For starters, Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) will get an unsettling gift from Orpheus (George DelHoyo).
Days spoilers say Steve will reel when he realizes Orpheus is messing with Kayla, so he’ll definitely worry about the threat to his family.
Abigail Klein has already been featured as Stephanie on Peacock’s Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem, but she’s about to make her debut on the main soap.
Since Steve and Kayla’s daughter will pop up by the end of Wednesday’s episode, Orpheus may have had a hand in sending her back to Salem.
Regardless, Steve will get a shock when Stephanie returns home without warning.
It would ordinarily be a nice surprise, but this whole Orpheus situation will have Steve on edge.
In the meantime, Chad and Jada head to the DiMera mansion for a thorough search.
During a sweep of the tunnels, Jada and Chad will discover a fork that has Leo’s fingerprints on it.
That’ll provide some evidence to prove Leo was in the secret room like Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) claimed.
Of course, Leo will keep denying everything until that proof comes to light.
Shawn will push Leo to confess to Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) murder, but Leo will act like he wasn’t even in the mansion that night.
Once Chad and Jada return with the fork that proves otherwise, Leo will have to shift his strategy.
Days spoilers say Leo will eventually put the blame on Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) and hope his new lawyer, Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty), can keep him out of prison.
Over with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson), he’ll pile on the lies during a conversation with Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) and continue working as Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) secret fixer.
The deeper Alex’s deception goes, the more trouble it’ll lead to when the truth inevitably comes out!
