Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, August 3, tease that Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) will get Jake DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) heart while Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) and Evan Frears aka Christian Maddox (Brock Kelly) have a showdown. Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will also prepare for a custody battle, so here’s what DOOL fans can look forward to.
First, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will reel now that Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) has revealed a huge secret.
Dr. Rolf still has Stefan’s body, but he’s clearly being kept alive by some sort of artificial heart device that can’t fully sustain him.
Perhaps Dr. Rolf will claim he needs a close match to the original heart for the rest of the process to work. That’d make Jake the perfect fit as Stefan’s twin.
Regardless, Jake has no brain activity, but his heart is beating just fine.
It looks like Dr. Rolf will perform a heart transplant and officially bring Stefan back to life.
Stefan was previously brain dead as well, but Dr. Rolf has obviously brought him back enough to be ready for this wild procedure.
It’ll still take some time for Dr. Rolf to carry out all the steps, but he’ll put his plan in motion and hope for the best.
Other Days spoilers say Jan will pop up again for a fierce confrontation with Evan, which will no doubt involve an argument over the baby.
Evan will vanish after this faceoff, so Jan and Shawn Christian might go with him – that is if they agree to start a messed-up family on the run.
On the other hand, maybe Jan will find some way to get Evan out of the picture for good.
In that case, Jan might try to kidnap the baby herself and make sure she gets to be a mother without anyone attempting to control her.
No matter what tricks Jan has up her sleeve, Shawn will be an emotional wreck following the paternity test results.
Days spoilers state that Shawn will still want to fight for custody, so he’ll turn to Belle Brady (Martha Madison) for assistance.
Belle will go over Shawn’s legal options, but they won’t matter much if Jan is able to pull off another abduction.
It’ll be interesting to see what Jan has in store and how it’ll affect Shawn’s future.
Of course, there’s a chance Evan could attack Jan and bolt to avoid getting caught.
Jan tends to land in long-term comas pretty frequently, so we can never rule out the possibility of another one!
As for EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), he’ll think he’s backed Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) into a corner.
EJ will make another call to city hall and expect there still won’t be any marriage documentation.
However, Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) should work her magic just in time and keep her scheme with Ava in full swing for now.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gabi and Ava’s partnership will come with more complications, so stick with DOOL!
