Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, July 20, tease that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will get grilled over Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) murder while Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) asks Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) to wed. Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) will also help Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) cope with his loss, so here’s what Days has in store.
For starters, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will fume as Detective Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) takes Sarah down to the police station for questioning.
Although Xander will continue to flip over his ruined wedding, Jada will insist on getting some answers based on Lucas Horton’s (Bryan Dattilo) new memories.
Lucas will have even more flashbacks on Wednesday’s DOOL episode, so expect total recall and a bigger hole for Sarah.
Although Sarah doesn’t remember being at the DiMera mansion that night, she may start to worry that she blocked out something traumatic – like stabbing Abigail.
Regardless, Sarah is clearly the one Lucas spotted rushing down the stairs and toward the door.
Days spoilers say Xander will think this interrogation is outrageous, but Jada will move forward with it anyway and bring some serious pressure for Sarah as a person of interest.
In the meantime, Sonny will check in with Chad and see how he’s holding up.
Chad is still grieving the loss of Abigail, so all the twists and turns this murder investigation have to be hard on him.
Fortunately, Sonny will prove he’s the best friend Chad could ask for.
Days spoilers say Sonny will step up to offer some comfort, so Chad will appreciate having his buddy to lean on.
Over with Johnny, he’ll stun Chanel by proposing remarriage once again.
Johnny will be tired of waiting to restart his future with Chanel – and he’ll want to gain the upper hand on Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) with this bold move, too.
Chanel will remain torn between the twins, but she’ll find herself swept up in Johnny’s steamy kiss within the next episode or two.
Allie will have a front-row seat for that lip lock, so we’ll pass along updates as other news rolls in.
