Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for the week of September 19-23 teases that Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will attack Orpheus (George DelHoyo) while some disturbing lab results come in. Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will also crack the case of who murdered Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) and stabbed Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker), so let’s discuss what’s ahead on DOOL.
At the hospital, Will Horton (Chandler Massey) will continue to support Sonny through his recovery.
The same goes for Chad, but he’ll also push Sonny to talk about what happened and help figure out who the real killer is.
Sonny will think back to that night in his office and recall getting a whiff of vanilla.
That’ll become important as Chad connects the dots and gains an idea of who might’ve plunged the knife in Abigail, too.
In the meantime, Chad will face a different shocker. Days spoilers say the news of Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) survival will throw Chad for a loop.
That could easily leave Chad feeling bitter that Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) was able to save Stefan and not Abigail.
Regardless, Chad will grow more determined than ever to get revenge once he nails down a culprit.
After Chad reconvenes with Sonny, Days spoilers say he’ll score the confirmation he needs.
Chad will get Sonny to back him up on one last detail that seals who the killer is.
There’s a good chance Clyde Weston (James Read) is the man responsible, but Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) will think Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas) is the murderer instead.
After Craig sees Nancy Miller (Patrika Darbo) celebrating a new engagement to Clyde, he’ll visit Leo following his arrest.
There’ll be some finger-pointing on both sides as Leo and Craig have an edgy reunion.
Steve will also visit Orpheus in the Salem PD interrogation room, where he’ll threaten bodily harm unless Orpheus provides an antidote.
Orpheus may stand by his claim that there’s no cure, so he’ll face Steve’s wrath.
Someone will have to stop Steve as he tries to physically attack Orpheus, who’ll mostly be amused by Steve’s angry antics.
In the meantime, there’ll be some troubling lab results for Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) to mull over.
These results may be pretty baffling and leave the women no closer to answers.
That’ll change eventually, but let’s talk about Stefan and EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) alliance for now. It will be painful to watch Stefan betray Gabi but that’s what is on the cards!
EJ and Stefan will become proud partners in the fight to reclaim power at DiMera Enterprises, so Gabi’s takedown plot will officially get underway.
Days spoilers say we’ll see another meltdown at Rachel Black’s (Finley Rose Slater) custody hearing, but it’ll be John Black (Drake Hogestyn) who gets provoked this time around.
Back with Sonny, he’ll apparently find out Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) has been working behind his back as a fixer for Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston).
Once Sonny gets updates, he’ll fly into a rage and really let Alex have it.
At Basic Black, Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole Walker Hernandez (Arianne Zucker) will admit their real dreams – the sizzling ones and not the bogus stories they previously offered.
Nicole and Eric will face major temptation as they work together, so a big betrayal will happen down the road.
