Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that we have to ask: Will Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) return for revenge and turn out to be the one behind Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) ruthless murder? Let’s talk about what we know so far and see if a back-from-the-dead shocker might be brewing.
DOOL insiders insist that Abigail’s fatal exit is coming up – and the latest dialogue on the show has hinted at a deadly end for Abigail as well.
There’s a chance Abigail won’t even make it back to Salem alive.
After all, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) pointed out how many people have died trying to get off that island.
It felt like Days was offering a clue about Abigail dying before she could escape, too.
Of course, there’s also been a lot of talk about Kristen and how lethal action isn’t her style.
Chad doesn’t think Kristen would do anything to hurt Abigail, so Days may be setting up a situation where Kristen will get blamed initially.
However, that would be much too easy considering the convoluted mysteries the show has told in the past. There’ll surely be a big reveal that’s far more shocking.
DOOL fans will recall how Will Horton (Chandler Massey) was believed to have killed Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans) – only for Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) to believe she did it instead.
In the end, Orpheus (George DelHoyo) was to blame for Adrienne’s fatal crash.
That’s the typical pattern when it comes to Days and the mystery storylines they like to tell.
The show usually goes for a few twists and turns before they settle on the real culprit of a crime.
We won’t be surprised if Kristen faces murder accusations – and then perhaps it’ll be drugged Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) turn to believe she’s responsible.
Sarah may be dealing with the side effects of the hallucinogen she was given, so it’s worth keeping her in mind as a suspect.
Even so, it’s possible there’ll be a curveball that changes everything. Maybe someone unexpected is on the island – someone like Andre DiMera.
Abigail killed Andre in the heat of the moment with an urn, which led to major trauma and a battle with dissociative identity disorder.
Could Andre return for revenge? What if Andre actually fought his way back to health and wound up hiding out on the DiMera family’s private island?
Thaao Penghlis is on the show as Tony DiMera, so he’s right there waiting to be used as Andre, too.
This would be a good opportunity for Penghlis to play a dual role and let Andre rise from the dead.
It wouldn’t be the first time the reports of Andre’s death were greatly exaggerated!
Whatever the case, Abigail is set to face a grim fate – and for now, it’s a mystery who’ll cause her demise.
The door is open for it to be vengeful Andre, so we’ll pass along updates as other news comes in.
