General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will seek a new job as Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) unlocks her surprising future and recruits Mia (Vanessa Mathison) the executive coach for help.
GH fans will recall that Mia helped Drew sort through his own career goals and figure out the path he wanted.
Vanessa Mathison is married to Cameron Mathison in real life, so it’ll be fun to see them work together once again.
Of course, Mia can’t tell Carly what to do or how to fill the void that the Metro Court left behind for her.
Carly lost a piece of her heart when she lost her half of the hotel, but she’s trying to stay open to new ventures as she looks ahead.
During the week of August 8-12, Drew and Carly will sit down for a strategy session with Mia.
After Mia gets updates on Carly’s unique situation, she’ll have a better grip on things and can give her more tailored advice.
Carly and Drew will indeed receive some help when it comes to new business tactics.
Mia will walk Carly through some options and help her gain a better understanding of her career transition.
Maybe Mia will help Carly think of ways she can put her old skills to use in a new position or project.
Carly likes to dream big, so Mia may run with that and steer her toward coming up with a venture that’ll leave her excited.
By the end of all this, Carly should feel like she’s got a sense of direction – and she’ll have Drew to thank for that since he’ll bring Mia into this.
Naturally, Carly could still wind up getting back her Metro Court half down the road.
Carly could have it right now if she’d just suck it up and tell Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) that she wants it!
Although Carly should stand her ground for now, there might be an opportunity to renegotiate later on.
Nina is already having problems running the Metro Court, so she might find herself wanting out of this mess at some point.
Whatever the case, Carly will consider different career goals in the meantime and could settle on a new job or mission as a result.
