General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) may flip on Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) for leaving him to suffer. Will Dex ultimately pledge his loyalty to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) instead?
This whole hook situation obviously isn’t what Dex signed up for.
Dex knew he’d be tackling a challenge when he agreed to secretly work for Michael as a plant in Sonny’s organization, but he never expected anything like this!
Now Dex is tied up and facing the threat of Carver’s giant knives.
It’s obvious Dex isn’t the real attacker, so his efforts to save Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) are being punished rather than rewarded.
However, this ordeal may at least teach Dex a valuable lesson about who’s the most powerful in this father-son battle. Sonny is the one to truly fear, not Michael.
Despite the horror Dex is going through, he still respects Sonny as a man who gets things done and fights to protect his family.
By the time Dex endures all this, he may earn Sonny’s respect, too.
Nevertheless, there’s still the pesky problem of Dex being a double agent. Dex really needs to think long and hard about who his real boss is.
Michael made a weak attempt to divert Sonny’s attention away from Dex as a potential suspect, but he still left.
Although Michael knew what Dex must be going through, he still went back to his cushy Quartermaine home.
What did Michael really do for Dex in the end? Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is the only one who’s truly helping Dex so far.
It looks like Josslyn will eventually be the one to discover Dex tied up as well, so Michael is proving useless.
Will there come a point when Dex decides enough is enough? Will Dex shift his allegiance to Sonny out of fear he could do far worse next time around?
Dex may score himself a big promotion once Sonny is satisfied that he’s not the real culprit.
Since Michael didn’t do much to get Dex out of his latest jam, Dex may decide he has to start helping himself – and that could mean helping Sonny take down Michael!
It’d be great to see the tables turned with Sonny and Dex duping Michael instead, so we’ll see how it all plays out.
General Hospital spoilers say Dex’s ordeal could change his perspective and strike some fear in his heart when it comes to Sonny, so maybe a Michael betrayal is brewing.
