General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) may report Officer Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) for inappropriate conduct with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). Will a new tip line confession make trouble?
Esme spied Rory’s flirty encounter with Trina and did some eavesdropping in the May 9 episode.
That led to Esme overhearing how Rory wasn’t allowed to socialize with anyone who’s the subject of an active investigation.
Of course, Rory simply ran into Trina at the yoga studio, so he insisted there was no rule against that.
It was just a harmless, friendly interaction with the potential of something more once this trial drama is behind Trina.
However, Esme clearly wants Trina to go down for the video scandal.
You’d think Esme would be glad Trina is interested in someone else besides Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), but that would mean letting Trina be happy – and that’s not something Esme can support.
That’s especially true since Esme will grow increasingly suspicious of Spencer and his ulterior motives.
Once Esme realizes Spencer is only with her to clear Trina’s name, she’ll know there’s still the threat of “Sprina” happening.
Esme’s best bet if she wants Trina locked up is to keep making her look bad in the eyes of the law.
That could mean dragging Rory into drama using the information Esme overheard.
Esme could make another anonymous tip line confession and act like Rory’s been behaving inappropriately.
Knowing Esme as well as we do, we won’t be surprised if she cooks up some bogus evidence.
It’d be easy for Esme to set up some close moment and snap pics to make it look like Rory is romantically involved with Trina.
Trina and Rory are maintaining the boundaries so far, but Esme might make it look like they’ve crossed the line.
That could put Rory’s job on the line and make Trina seem like she’s disregarding the law to do whatever she wants.
Esme is a troublemaker to the core, so she might launch another setup and make Trina even more miserable.
On the bright side, that could give Rory a bigger reason to go after Esme and prove she’s been up to no good!
