General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) could land at a London hideout if her former nanny, Maggie Fitzgerald, offers refuge. Maggie presumably still lives across the pond based on the address written on the letters, so Esme may soon be London bound.
Of course, all Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) was able to find following Esme’s parapet tumble was a shoe.
No discovered body often means no death on a soap. That’s especially true when it comes to this parapet that so many people have survived falling from.
Esme is no doubt the latest GH character to go over the edge and live to tell the tale.
The question is: Where will Esme go while she’s on the run? Since Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) is locked up at Spring Ridge, it’s not like Esme has a ton of people she can turn to.
In fact, we can only think of one – and that’s Maggie.
The show has created quite a backstory surrounding this offscreen nanny and her concern for Esme.
It’d be weird for GH writers to have all this buildup and never actually have Maggie’s onscreen debut, so we have to believe she’s still coming.
Maggie could actually become a very crucial part of the storyline now.
Once Esme presumably swam to safety, perhaps she was able to get in touch with Maggie and beg for help.
Since the situation is so dire, perhaps Maggie’s caring nanny instincts took over and pushed her to take action for Esme’s sake.
It’s easy to imagine Maggie arranging for Esme to travel to London, where she can lay low for a while.
That’d give Esme an opportunity to rest following her ordeal and figure out what she’s going to do next.
Since Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) knows about Maggie and has been looking into her, there’s a chance she’ll succeed in finding her – or maybe Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) will succeed on Sam’s behalf.
Regardless, this nanny has been mentioned way too often to get dropped.
Esme has no one she can turn to except Maggie, so she might manage to get her former nanny on the phone and score a plane ticket to London.
Then again, Esme might end up somewhere else with Maggie, but Maggie’s hideout help seems crucial under the circumstances.
General Hospital spoilers say Maggie may have to care for Esme once more, but she could get dragged into trouble as a result.
