General Hospital Spoilers: Friday, May 13 Update – Josslyn Grills Secretive Carly – Brook Lynn’s Bad News – Nina’s Ally Steps Up

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, May 13, teases that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will grill secretive Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) while Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) gets some bad news. Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) ally will also step up for her, so there’ll be some exciting scenes playing out in Friday’s show.

At GH, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will sense that TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) has a lot on his mind.

When Jordan quizzes TJ, it should give him a chance to continue working through his emotions following a tough loss.

Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) was the first patient who died under TJ’s care, so it’s been hard to face that difficult blow.

Thankfully, TJ got some good advice from Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and should appreciate whatever support Jordan offers.

Speaking of support, Brook Lynn will have plenty for Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth).

The Aurora Media and ELQ merger has left Ned fuming since he feels like he’s being put out to pasture.

Ned will vent to Brook Lynn, who’ll learn Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) are trying to cast him aside.

Drew and Michael have promised it’ll all work out, but Ned certainly doesn’t think it’ll work out for him.

Over with Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight), he’ll offer guidance to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) during a meeting to talk strategy.

Martin and Valentin will determine that hostility within the Quartermaine clan could be the key to maintaining some power.

Ned is already disgruntled, but things are going to get worse after Michael and Drew make him an insulting offer during the week of May 16-20.

Valentin will eventually hope to get Ned on his side, but Brook Lynn will listen to her father and offer sympathy in the meantime.

As for Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), he’ll assure Nina that he’s still in her corner.

Nina will appreciate having Curtis as an ally, especially since he’ll remind her to keep fighting.

Although Nina has made big mistakes, she desperately wants the opportunity to see Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and be a real presence in his life.

Curtis can get behind Nina’s efforts, particularly since he’s so fed up with Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) bailing on his family for weak reasons.

Nina may hold out hope that perhaps Curtis can reconnect with his father – and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will keep rooting for Michael to reconnect with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), too.

Dante will come up with a tactic to prove Sonny cares about his family, so we’ll see if he can offer enough evidence for Michael.

Evidence is something that’ll be on Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) mind, too.

Willow is ready to carry out a search for her bio mom, so Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will find out her predicament and promise to help with the hunt for proof.

It sounds like Sam’s private investigating skills will soon be put to good use, but GH fans already know who Willow’s true mom is.

Carly knows as well, but she’ll have to wait on the DNA test results for real confirmation.

Until then, Carly will enjoy some mother-daughter time with Josslyn as they get a mani-pedi.

However, Josslyn may sense that Carly isn’t as relaxed as she’d normally be at the nail salon.

Joss is bound to ask questions and may think Carly’s acting a little off.

Carly may not spill about Willow being Nina’s bio daughter, but Josslyn should still suspect something’s up.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Sonny will hope to shut down a problem.

Whether the deterioration of his relationship with Michael or something else, Sonny will prove he’s determined.

Sonny, Drew and some other Port Charles parents will prepare for a school festival, which should set the stage for Leo Quartermaine’s (Easton Rocket Sweda) upcoming performance.

Leo will get some help from Brook Lynn, Ned and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) as he tries to overcome his fears and recite the poem he’s been practicing.

Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will continue to play a role in helping Leo as well, so look for him to keep a promise during the week of May 16-20.

General Hospital spoilers say there could be some curveballs at this school festival, so don’t miss what’s in store.
