General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, January 3 Update – Carly Rejects Drew – Britt & Victor Face Off – Sonny’s Risky Move

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, January 3, teases that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will reject a Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) replacement while Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) face off. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will also make a risky move, so here’s what GH fans can expect.

On the footbridge, Carly will initially be rather frosty toward Jason’s twin. Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) just showed up with a similar idea since they both know the footbridge was a place that mattered to Jason.

Although Drew will acknowledge that he’s not trying to be Jason for Carly, it’ll still feel that way when he reaches out.

Carly is really missing her best friend right now, but Drew is just a painful reminder that Jason didn’t make it back home.

As a result, Carly will have a cold response for Drew and basically tell him to get lost.

Carly will just want to be alone with her thoughts, but Drew won’t want to leave her in such despair. That’s why Drew will keep at it until he convinces Carly to drop her guard just a tad.

Carly may assure Drew that she doesn’t blame him for Jason’s death, but Drew will wonder if perhaps she blames herself.

Grief can mess with people in all sorts of ways, so Drew might think Carly feels she should’ve protected Jason or stopped him from taking that trip somehow.

However, there’s nothing Carly could’ve done to stop what transpired on Cassadine Island.

Drew will manage to comfort Carly, so they’ll end their scenes on an emotional note. Despite Carly’s earlier iciness, she’ll connect with Drew somewhat and realize he’s just trying to help.

Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) will try to help Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) as well in Monday’s exciting episode.

Harmony will get the feeling that Alexis is ready to throw in the towel on her career and perhaps settle for something she has no passion for.

Harmony will give Alexis the pep talk she needs to work toward a better tomorrow.

Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will also have the future on her mind as she seeks a new beginning. She’ll hope to leave Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and any drama related to him in the rearview mirror soon enough.

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will also feel like Peter’s games have to end permanently. She’ll want to do everything in her power to make sure Maxie stays safe and hopefully find Louise August (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt), too.

Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) will agree wholeheartedly as she comes together with Anna to strike a deal.

Anna and Felicia may sense that more danger is around the corner, but they’ll be ready if they face it together!

Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will fret over Victor’s immunity deal, which means he gets to roam around free like everybody else.

Although Laura and Mac will worry about what Victor might try to pull, they’ll both plan to protect their nearest and dearest.

It looks like Mac will even make a bold promise regarding safety to ease Laura’s mind.

In the meantime, Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) will mention that there’s someone “he” wants to see. If Peter awakens from his coma, he may request a visitor once he’s alert.

On the other hand, we know Victor will drop by GH and hope for Peter updates.

Victor might ask Austin for help setting a meeting up of some sort – or perhaps this could tie in with another story entirely.

Whatever the case, Britt will cross paths with Victor and snap that visiting hours are over, but she’ll think he must have a lot to celebrate.

Britt will acknowledge that Victor’s a free man while comatose Peter may never wake up – not that Britt cares as far as Peter goes.

Even so, Britt might point out that guard are swarming everywhere – just in case Victor is tempted to murder Peter and remove any doubt about his fate.

No matter what Victor intends to do, Peter will live to cause more Port Charles chaos in 2022.

Finally, Sonny will take a gamble now that he’s allowed Nina to give him a ride. It’s not a good idea to be alone with Nina, especially while drunk.

There’s no predicting what Sonny might say or do in this state, but Nina will hopefully recognize that Sonny’s vulnerable.

Nina will be remorseful about the pain she’s caused and may invite Sonny to let her have it.

Despite Sonny’s anger over the situation, he may admit that he’s still struggling with complicated feelings.

General Hospital spoilers say Sonny and Nina could battle growing temptation in the coming episodes, so stay tuned!
