General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, June 13 Recap – Esme’s Second Attack on Ava & Nik – Felicia Predicts Ryan’s Deadly Betrayal

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, June 13, reveals that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) plotted her second attack on Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) marriage. Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) also predicted Ryan Chamberlain’s (Jon Lindstrom) deadly betrayal, so here’s how all the action played out.

At the pool, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) joined Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Michael Corinthos (temporarily played by Robert Adamson) to gloat about sending the latest Aurora share projections skyrocketing.

Michael was concerned about Carly’s calculated risk, but he was appreciative since her investment was working out so far.

Later, Drew and Michael made a pitch in hopes of securing Lucy Coe’s (Lynn Herring) support at the shareholders’ meeting, so she decided to mull it over.

At the Metro Court restaurant, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) made it clear to Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) that failure wasn’t an option and felt confident that Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) would play for his team.

Martin said he’d do his part to keep Lucy on Valentin’s side as well.

Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) also found Martin to deliver news about Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), who couldn’t have been responsible for the attack on Martin and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) based on the bureau’s evidence.

That meant there was still an unidentified threat, so Martin vowed to talk to Laura and do everything he could to protect her.

At Kelly’s, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) told Laura that Ava had a change of heart and now wanted him to stay at Wyndemere as part of their deal.

Laura was pleased over Spencer deciding to accept Nikolas’s marriage, even if he’d never like Ava.

The conversation shifted to Esme and how Spencer could have empathy for her without letting her control him. Spencer lit up as he decided Laura was right – that the key to Esme was her past.

At Wyndemere, Nikolas worked to convince Ava that they should wipe the slate clean with a divorce. That way, they could remarry for keeps this time.

Ava thought that seemed like a lot of steps just to end up back in the same place. Plus, Ava worried a challenge would come along that they couldn’t overcome – and if they undid this knot, there was no guarantee they’d tie another.

However, Nikolas was adamant about this being the best way to start a new chapter.

Once Ava got on board with Nikolas’ extreme strategy, Nik broke the divorce news to a confused Laura.

At GH, Felicia scored entrance to Ryan’s exam room and said he wasn’t fooling anyone. Felicia could still see a threat in Ryan’s dangerous eyes.

Esme introduced herself and got the scoop on some of Felicia’s history with Ryan when he stalked her.

Ryan blinked out a message that said “You’re the bomb” according to the special board Esme brought.

Felicia assumed that was Ryan’s attempt at a joke since he once crashed her wedding with an explosive device.

After Felicia asked if Esme was Ryan’s latest obsession, she warned her to be careful – especially since Ryan killed Ava’s daughter and left his own brother to rot in an asylum.

Felicia pointed out that Ryan would do that to his own blood and wondered what he might do to Esme.

Once Esme had served her purposes, Felicia suggested that Ryan would discard her and probably kill her. It’s not like Ryan hadn’t done it before!

When Esme was alone with Ryan, she noted that Ryan had left out a lot of details when it came to Felicia.

Ryan said that was because Felicia was one of his greatest disappointments – and he warned Esme not to end up on the same list.

Talk turned to why Esme hadn’t blown up Ava’s marriage yet, but she felt that exposing the hookup too soon also would’ve exposed her agenda.

Plus, Esme felt that one betrayal might not be enough to split Ava and Nikolas.

Ryan insisted he was eager to start the next phase of his scheme and spread his wings, so Esme assured him that he would.

Esme then told “Daddy” to trust her since what she had planned would blow that family apart once and for all.

As Ryan was wheeled out to the elevator, he glared at Felicia in the distance and smirked slightly.

Once Esme met back up with Spencer, he was finishing his last shift at Kelly’s.

Spencer was more affectionate than usual and assured Esme that she was his family, so she was pleased. From now on, Spencer wanted to spend all his time with his “baby girl.”

At the Metro Court again, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) sought Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) help with a shipment that had been sitting in the harbor, but she told him to take it up with the harbormaster.

That left Sonny irritated, so he wondered who was worse: the people who watch you burn or the people who light the match.

Jordan could tell something else was eating Sonny, so that led to a conversation about their sons and whether Sonny still had hope for reconciliation with Michael.

After Jordan offered a pep talk and predicted the stalemate would end soon, Sonny wound up joining Carly in her office.

When Sonny complained about Michael acting like he threw his family relationships away over Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), Carly admitted she agreed with Michael.
