General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) may want revenge on Selina Wu (Lydia Look) since he’ll be furious after Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) gambles away Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) money.
Gladys is family, so Sonny is always going to watch out for her. Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) may be dead, but Sonny considers Sasha to be his family, too.
If we know one thing about Sonny, it’s that his family is off-limits when it comes to business!
Sonny is involved in plenty of shady mob drama, but he doesn’t want that spilling over and affecting his personal connections.
Selina should know better than to drag Gladys into poker game trouble since she’s bound to provoke Sonny’s wrath.
That’s especially true since Gladys clearly plans to gamble using Sasha’s money now that she’s in charge of all her finances.
Sasha has already faced some issues with Gladys and the guardianship, but she’s trying to tell herself that Gladys has her best interests at heart.
Gladys’ controlling side comes from a place of love as far as Sasha’s concerned, so she’s made peace with the arrangement.
Of course, it certainly won’t seem so loving when Gladys drains Sasha’s bank account dry, which seems to be where this storyline is headed.
That’s exactly what Selina had in mind when she invited Gladys to buy a seat at the table. Selina knew exactly what she was doing and essentially thought Gladys was an easy mark.
However, Sonny has vowed to protect Sasha since Brando isn’t around to do it himself.
Sasha has been through more than enough, so Sonny won’t be pleased at all when this ordeal adds to her suffering.
Selina may insist she simply made an offer and act like this is entirely on Gladys.
Sonny won’t be too happy with Gladys either, but that doesn’t mean he’ll let Selina off the hook.
This could turn into a situation where Sonny threatens Selina and tries to get Sasha’s money back.
Regardless, Sonny and Selina’s alliance could soon be on fragile ground.
We may see Sonny seek revenge on Selina if she doesn’t find some way to make amends after this whole Gladys gambling debacle.
