General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, August 18, tease that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will suspect a secret while Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) panics over a terrifying memory. Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will also warn Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) not to trust Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), so here’s what GH fans can look forward to.
For starters, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will have a surprise in store for Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) – something that could help move his music career along.
Chase will wonder if Brook Lynn really believes in him, so she’ll assure him that she does.
Although Brook Lynn and Chase are scheming against Linc Brown (Dan Buran), Brook Lynn truly has faith in Chase’s talent and star power.
By the Metro Court pool, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will open up to Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) about his Liz dilemma.
Finn can tell that Liz’s trauma seemingly stems from issues with her parents, but Liz has threatened to break up with him if he doesn’t back off.
That’ll leave Finn in a tight spot since he needs to respect Liz’s boundaries, but he also doesn’t know how he’s supposed to just stand by and watch her fall apart.
Finn will open up to Gregory and get some advice, but it looks like he’ll decide to get in touch with Liz’s father no matter what.
Liz wouldn’t want Finn to contact Jeff Webber (last played by Richard Dean Anderson) about her problems, but it seems Finn is on the verge of reaching out anyway.
In the meantime, Liz will rant about how people need to stay out of her business.
That could involve lashing out at a concerned Terry Randolph (Cassandra James), who may defend Finn as someone who’s trying to help.
At some point, Liz will face another memory trigger. We’ll see Liz flash back to her younger years and revisit some disturbing childhood trauma.
Over with Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy), he’ll remain wary of Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and how far she might go to uncover Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) secrets.
Valentin will reiterate that Anna won’t be a problem and ask what it’s going to take for Victor to stand down.
As for Anna, she’ll spar with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) over blackmailing Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight).
Lucy obviously won’t be happy about that, but Anna will work a new angle to score Victor info and push Lucy to get with the program.
Next, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will urge Britt to give Cody another opportunity to prove himself.
Scott, on the other hand, will insist Britt would be wise not to trust Cody – especially since he’s been keeping so many secrets.
Dante got updates on Cody being Dominique Stanton’s (Shell Danielson) son, but it seems he’ll wonder what else his childhood friend is hiding.
Cody only recently learned about the Dominique developments, but he’s sitting on some other shockers from his time in Port Charles.
Since Cody is holding the whole Society Setups situation over Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson, his secretive behavior may raise more red flags.
Cody will eventually decide to make a confession to “Mama Q” aka Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), so she’ll listen as he unburdens himself in some way.
Back with Scott, he’ll want to come clean to Lucy about Cody’s biological connection to Dominique.
It’s possible there’ll be some delays, but Lucy will find out the truth sooner or later.
