General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, May 19, teases that Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) DNA results pickup will go awry while Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) gets a scary call. Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) will also blast TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow), so there’ll be some big stuff happening on the ABC soap.
First, Carly is awaiting the results of the DNA test she roped Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) into arranging.
Once those results are in, Carly will arrive at GH to pick them up.
The problem is Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) will overhear part of Carly’s conversation and grow curious.
Will Bobbie’s interrogation lead to her joining the secret circle?
It’s possible Carly will admit she’s trying to find out for sure if Harmony Miller’s (Inga Cadranel) claims are true.
These DNA results will tell Carly whether Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is really Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) biological mother.
No matter how much Bobbie becomes privy to, Carly will take this opportunity to rant about Nina and her unforgivable actions.
Nina will also find herself stuck in an uncomfortable interaction at The Savoy, but Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will come through for Nina and distract her with one of their typical flirty encounters.
Sonny previously went along with Nina’s suggestion about keeping their distance for now, but that’s impossible in Port Charles.
Coincidental run-ins are the norm, so Sonny and Nina might as well accept that.
After Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) pulls Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) away from work and study prep, they’ll end up enjoying some nightclub fun.
However, there’ll also be a serious discussion at The Savoy regarding Marshall once Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) enters the mix.
Stella will point out that not everyone gets another chance like Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is getting.
While Stella hopes Curtis makes the most of it, TJ will be busy facing Marshall’s anger in Brooklyn.
Although TJ will argue that he didn’t want to lose his grandfather, Marshall won’t think it was right for him to go digging around.
Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) will back TJ up and hope they can convince Marshall to come home, but TJ will begin to fear they’ve wasted a trip.
GH spoilers hint at a potentially dangerous situation before the week’s over, so Marshall might turn violent on someone in that restaurant – especially if he’s not taking his meds like he should.
Whatever the case, TJ will soon land in a situation where he has to settle things down.
At Kelly’s, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) will do his best to entertain Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) while Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) is checking on Liz.
There’ll be concerns about Liz’s mental state since she’ll get a disturbing phone call – possibly one that echoes the words from her dreams or when Chelsea Lam (Jen Ray) channeled Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth).
Finn will support Liz along with Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom), but Liz will end up having an outburst.
It seems Liz may kick Finn out of Laura’s place, so she may act like he pushed too hard for a romance and angered Franco.
Later, Finn will fret over not being able to help Liz. The last thing Finn wants is to lose Elizabeth, but he’ll feel her slipping through his fingers anyway.
Gregory will offer some words of wisdom – and so will Violet, who’ll wind up sparking an idea that could help Finn within the next episode or two.
