General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, September 8, tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will trade threats while Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) confesses. Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) will also battle some lawyer fears, so here’s what viewers can expect.
For starters, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) will ask what Mac Scorpio (John J. York) is so afraid of. Although Mac is hesitant to move forward with a DNA test, Felicia will think it’d be good for her husband to know the truth about Cody.
However, Mac will argue that just knowing might be too high a price. It’d be hard for Mac to process losing all those years with his biological son – not to mention it’d be daunting to create some form of a complicated bond now.
While Felicia urges Mac to seek DNA results anyway, Cody will get updates on Mac’s digging and wonder if he needs a lawyer. Mac has been asking Britt a lot of questions, but this is really about their potential biological connection.
Later, Maxie will fish for info from Britt and perhaps address Mac’s concerns. There’ll also be a moment where Maxie says she’s starting to think she was wrong, so she may act like Cody and Britt aren’t a good match.
Of course, this could just be a manipulative move on Maxie’s part to rile Britt up. Maxie may prove to Britt that she’s still interested and convince her to see where things lead with Cody.
At the PCPD, it looks like there’ll be some tension between Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) and Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse). Spencer will insist there’s nothing to worry about and may assure Rory that all ties are severed with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali)
Rory will eventually seek guidance from Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), so there could be a tricky police situation before Spencer heads to Pentonville and starts his three-month sentence.
At GH, Ava will decide someone deserves to know the truth – and that someone could be Trina since she’ll visit her hospitalized friend again soon. Trina will have a case of bad timing, so she might walk in on a fight between Ava and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).
That could lead to Ava coming clean about Nikolas’ betrayal in private. Will Ava admit Nik cheated with Esme Price (Avery Kristen Pohl) or keep the identity of his hookup partner a secret from Trina?
As for Nikolas, he’ll lash out after someone implies something sinister. Nikolas may once again find himself in the position to defend himself and argue that he didn’t try to kill Ava.
At the penthouse, it seems Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will admit Sonny isn’t the only one keeping an eye on Cody. It turns out Dante has some lingering trust issues and will be secretly keeping an eye on Cody, too.
At the Port Charles Grill, Sonny and Victor’s faceoff will escalate quickly. We’ll see Sonny call Victor out on a mess he’s created and wonder how his enemy’s going to clean it up.
Victor and Sonny will no doubt trade threats during this anger-fueled meeting, so they’ll both need to watch their backs. We’ll keep you posted as other GH news comes in.
