General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, December 20, reveals that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will refuse to let Denise McKenzie (Alex Rietveld) leave until she comes clean. Denise told Drew a phony story, so now he’ll want the real one and will question why she’s been feeding him false information.
Of course, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is bound to get nosy since she’s sitting nearby at Charlie’s Pub.
Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will have some fires to put out as she juggles keeping Nina in the dark and throwing Drew off the trail.
However, Carly will escape disaster somehow and will apparently offer a third payment to Denise.
Covering up the truth about Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) birth mother has become an expensive task for Carly, but she’s in too deep to back out now.
In the meantime, Nina will open up to Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) a bit more, so that could involve her concerns about Donna Corinthos (Arya & Ayla Dormiani).
Since Nina feels losing a daughter left a permanent void in her heart, she doesn’t want to cross lines and use Donna to fill it.
Nina doesn’t realize she’s got another daughter who’s alive – though she’s certainly not well!
Willow desperately needs a bone marrow donor match, so Carly doesn’t realize she could be preventing a life-saving revelation.
As for Drew, he’ll do some speculating and make some updates to his theory.
Carly will have to keep an eye on Drew – just in case he gets too close to uncovering Nina and Willow’s bio link.
Over with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), GH spoilers say their connection will be intense.
Dex will think Josslyn should surrender to what she’s feeling and let him be the one to protect her always.
Next, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will be Captain Obvious as he tells Mac Scorpio (John J. York) it looks like they’ve got a serial killer on their hands.
The PCPD isn’t making much progress on this case if that’s all Dante has to say!
At Wyndemere, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will drop a couple bombs on Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), who’ll learn his father is divorcing Ava Jerome (Maura West) after cheating with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst).
Spencer will fall for this Liz betrayal news and think Nikolas is absolutely disgusting at this point.
Nikolas will intentionally push Spencer away in hopes of keeping the Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) truth under wraps.
Although Liz will be apologetic as she deals with Ava’s wrath, it won’t do any good.
Ava will make it clear that Elizabeth’s going to pay, so Liz may worry about the vengeance that’s in the works.
As Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) dwells on the poor choices of the past, he’ll be reminded of one in particular.
Cody feels like his life was ruined by some illegal act from his younger days – something he apparently took all the blame for so Dante could get off scot-free.
Since Cody has hinted about Dante’s own shady history, Sam will remain on edge about that.
Dante is also stuck in the middle of a risky hook investigation, so Sam may feel like threats are coming from every angle.
Unfortunately, Cody will be haunted by a more recent terrible decision, too.
Since Cody deceived Mac Scorpio (John J. York) about the paternity test results, he’ll feel like he has to live with that lie.
Cody wasn’t able to acquire the valuable inheritance he wanted – and now he doesn’t have a loving father either.
Despite telling himself it’s for the best, Cody may find himself wondering what might’ve been.
General Hospital spoilers say Mac’s bio dad status will be revealed down the road, but Cody’s deception is sure to incite some anger and hinder family bonding.
