General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, February 22, teases that Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) new attorney will offer help while Felicia Scorpio’s (Kristina Wagner) speeding car becomes a big part of the drama in Switzerland. Maxie Jones (Kristen Storms) will also set a trap for Peter August (Wes Ramsey), so viewers should get ready for a fatal exit.
First, let’s talk about the end of Sonny and Carly Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) marriage.
Sonny will have a new divorce attorney named Malcolm (David Rees Snell), who’ll be going up against the cutthroat Rebecca Diamond (Kate Orsini).
Naturally, Sonny would rather skip the divorce entirely and just work through his issues with Carly.
Sonny will no doubt make another effort to reconcile or at least delay the divorce proceedings, but it doesn’t look like Carly will budge.
As far as Carly’s concerned, Sonny made his choice when he got in bed with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
Now Carly is ready to start negotiating the terms of their divorce so they can get out of this marriage as quickly and painlessly as possible.
Of course, Carly has far more vengeful plans in mind when it comes to Nina!
Carly will continue to plot Nina’s ruin while Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) provokes Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) and makes bigger problems for Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla).
Joss already irritated Esme over the present that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) bought Trina.
Josslyn will push it even further by accusing Esme of offering an explanation that’s as phony as her.
That explanation may be something Esme offers to cover up the real reason she returned to the cabin.
Esme might claim she went back for Spencer’s headphones when she really went back to get the phone she planted, which filmed Josslyn and Cameron Webber’s (William Lipton) steamy night in bed.
Whatever the case, Joss has learned by now that you can’t trust a word out of Esme’s mouth.
Once Esme takes off, Trina will snap at Josslyn for making matters worse.
Trina may argue that even a fake truce was better than nothing.
Trina will feel like Josslyn put even more of a target on her back, so there’ll be plenty of tension.
Later, Trina will feel like the odd woman out again, so maybe Cameron and Josslyn will enjoy some romantic alone time.
In Switzerland, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will barge in the cabin and get someone down on the floor.
Drew will yell for this person to put his hands up and drop his gun – most likely thinking it’s Peter.
However, it might actually be Gustav the caretaker if Peter left a gun for him.
An even better option might be WSB Agent Krieger (Josh Adamson), the guy Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) has working for him on the inside.
If Agent Krieger beat Drew inside the cabin, that could lead to confusion – that is until Drew realizes this guy must be going rogue on Victor’s orders.
Once Drew determines that Peter ran after Maxie, he’ll definitely fear for her safety.
Next, Victor will apparently receive word that Peter got away.
Victor may rant about Agent Krieger’s incompetence after Johann (Max Decker) offers updates on the Swiss chaos.
Fortunately, Maxie will intend to end this nightmare once and for all.
Felicia will be right there with her on that – and she just might help Maxie achieve her goal with a speeding car.
GH spoilers say Felicia will indeed be seen in her rental vehicle, so that car is clearly going to be a factor here.
After Maxie creates a commotion to lure Peter to her location, Felicia may floor it and run him down – leaving Peter a bloody mess under the wheels.
Then again, Peter has brought up those deadly wolves several times now.
It’s possible Felicia’s car will chase Peter into the woods so that a pack of howling wolves tears him apart!
Those are the two most likely options as we gear up for Tuesday’s exciting show, which will indeed bring Peter’s deadly comeuppance.
If you’ve been waiting for Peter to get what’s coming to him, you definitely won’t want to miss this action-packed episode!
Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) hospital meeting will also come with a curveball, so that could be related to Peter, Victor or both.
Regardless, Laura and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will end up discussing a chain reaction that could result in more mayhem.
It appears Sam may spy on Victor and Johann as they talk down on the pier, but a stray bottle or something else on the ground will create a commotion.
Since Johann and Victor turn to look in Tuesday’s preview video, Sam might find herself busted and unable to hear the rest of Victor’s plans.
Despite Sam’s interference, Victor will do whatever it takes to carry out his wild plot and make his life’s work worthwhile!
