General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Tuesday, January 4, tease that Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) death news details will spread while Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) tackles some unsettled business. Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will also deliver a chilling warning, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
For starters, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will spend the morning canoodling in bed following their New Year’s Eve steaminess.
Curtis will admit there’s something he’s been wanting to say to Portia all morning, so that could lead to a love declaration or a big suggestion.
After Curtis reminds Portia that a new year has begun, he’ll want to focus on a fresh start. GH spoilers say Portia and Curtis will take a significant step in their relationship, so moving in together sounds like a great option.
Over with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), he’ll tell Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) that it’s about time they make it official.
Brook Lynn will smile as she holds “Bailey Quartermaine” aka Louise August (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt) in her arms – and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will seem excited about Ned’s plan as well.
This could involve some special gift to cement “Bailey’s” place in the Quartermaine clan – or maybe it’ll tie in with an effort to make Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) feel more welcome as her “dad.”
Regardless, Brook Lynn will soon face some shockers since Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) is back in town and Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is awake!
As for Drew, he’ll check in with Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) and mention some unsettled business.
Drew may hint about taking on Victor and leave Monica concerned about the threat the ruthless Cassadine poses.
Monica will urge Drew to be careful since she can’t handle losing another son – especially since she’s already lost Drew once before!
Now that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is dead, Monica will be even more protective of Drew and any risky plans he wants to carry out.
When Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) runs into Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), he’ll do some taunting. “In a sense, this is all possible because of you,” Shawn says in Tuesday’s preview video.
Shawn might be referring to his work at The Invader, but that may also be a dig at Nikolas because of his alliance with Victor.
Maybe Shawn will blame Nikolas for his past connection to Victor, which could become even more of a problem for him now.
Victor will have a conversation with Nikolas and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) later about the “wings of change” that are coming, so he’ll make some rather ominous comments. Ava and Nikolas will no doubt be on edge as a result!
Back with Shawn, he’ll stun Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) with a job offer.
Shawn will hope Alexis is willing to become a journalist at The Invader and help him expose injustices, so she’ll have to give the idea some thought.
After Laura confides how she’s feeling to Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom), she’ll approach Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) with some terrible updates.
Laura will reveal that Luke is dead – and fans should hear more from Tracy about exactly what happened.
