General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, July 26, teases that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) will face her last chance while Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) provokes Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) fury. Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will also demand answers from Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), so here’s what viewers can expect.
First, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will don a suit and prepare to take the stand in Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) trial.
However, Spencer will hold out hope that Esme will come through and take the deal she’s been offered.
After Spencer corners Esme, he’ll insist she needs to hurry up and figure out how to clear Trina’s name.
Spencer will make it clear that it’s her last chance to find out who her birth mother is and wiggle out of this mess scot-free.
Of course, Spencer doesn’t actually know who Esme’s bio mom is, but he’ll keep up the ruse and count on Esme to surrender to his demands.
Otherwise, Spencer will fear it could mean bad news for Trina.
In the meantime, Trina will enjoy a tender moment with Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse), who’ll want to make things right.
Although Trina doesn’t blame Rory for being honest in his testimony, he’ll still hate the idea of making the situation worse.
Rory may promise that when this is all over, he’ll take Trina out on a date and make up for what happened in court.
Trina doesn’t need Rory to fix anything, but she should appreciate the optimism about her upcoming verdict.
Next, Jordan will push Curtis for the latest details on Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno), so it looks like he’ll reveal everything he knows.
Curtis believes Esme drugged Oz to silence him – and GH fans know that’s exactly what went down.
After Curtis reveals a new plan, Jordan will raise an eyebrow and voice her concerns.
Curtis will have to sell Jordan on his scheme and make sure they’re a team going into this mission.
Since Jordan believes Trina is innocent, Curtis won’t have to work too hard to convince her.
At Wyndemere, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will tell Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) that she was right and confirm that the divorce is off.
Although Nikolas will try to bolster his marriage, the threat of Esme coming clean will hang over it like a dark cloud.
Other GH spoilers say Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will refuse to bury her head in the sand and act like Sonny isn’t a mob boss.
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) won’t expect Josslyn to pretend, but she may think it’s best for Joss to stand down and avoid provoking Sonny any further.
Naturally, Carly knows how Sonny operates and may admit she enjoyed watching her ex-husband squirm.
That said, things could head downhill fast if Josslyn were to follow through on a threat and put Sonny behind bars.
Carly may admit Sonny was right about Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) and Donna Corinthos (Ava Rose) needing him.
There’s also the matter of Sonny’s enemies and the damage they could do while he’s locked up.
Carly may get updates on Josslyn deleting the video and warn not to make any more.
Although Carly has Sonny right where she wants him now, there’s no need to stir the pot any further.
Over with Nina, she’ll hit a nerve during a significant conversation with Sonny.
Although Nina will want to be honest and get her feelings out in the open, it’ll be hard when Sonny does the same.
Sonny will act like this isn’t going to work if Nina can’t handle certain things – like his link to Carly and the life they used to share.
We’ll see Nina set Sonny off with something she says, but part of the problem may be his anger over Josslyn and Carly.
Sonny may still be pretty riled up and take some of his anger out on Nina as a result.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Nina and Sonny will have a serious confrontation, so stay tuned for some heated scenes.
