General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, April 27 Update – Drew Protects Portia - Sonny’s Suspicious Mission – Sasha’s Meltdown

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, April 27, teases that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will carry out a suspicious mission while Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) has a meltdown. Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will also protect Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), so let’s talk about what’s in store.

First, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will sit down with Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and alert him to a troubling Sasha situation.

Sasha seems to think Liam Corbin’s death was a punishment for the mistakes she’s made, which obviously isn’t true at all.

Nina did her best to reassure Sasha, but she’ll want Brando to know his wife could use some extra love right now.

Since Nina knows what it’s like to have a similar void in her heart, she’ll understand that emptiness and realize it’s a constant battle.

As Sasha attends an event for Deception, her night will take a terrible turn.

Sasha will get an unfortunate surprise, so there may be some promotional materials that offer a reminder of when she was pregnant.

Sasha may rush out in despair, but Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) will chase after her.

GH spoilers say Gladys will try to comfort Sasha, who’ll have an emotional outburst in a wooded area.

There’s a good chance Sasha and Gladys will find themselves quite near the chaos that’s playing out with Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel), Alexis Davis (temporarily played by Stephanie Erb) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright).

Since Harmony has lost it, she somehow thinks she can hang onto Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) if she just gets rid of Carly and Alexis.

Harmony will assault Alexis and leave her with a wound on her forehead, but what about that ominous cliff nearby?

It seems like it’s just begging for someone to dangle off it – especially since we know Sasha and Gladys are about to make an alarming discovery.

However, this won’t be the end of Harmony since she’s still featured in spoilers for the week of May 2-6.

Alexis and Carly will also make it to the hospital later this week, so they just have to survive a bit more chaos first.

Next, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will get a pleasant surprise.

TJ will receive a special gift from Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett), so we’ll see if this reminds TJ of their chat at the boxing gym.

TJ suggested that a surgical team was a lot like a symphony with all the parts working together, so maybe Marshall’s gift will offer a nod to that discussion.

Both Drew and Portia will fret over Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and how he’s coping with this whole Marshall dilemma.

Curtis just wants Marshall to be honest and build a real relationship based on trust, but Marshall is a secretive guy who now feels like his privacy was violated.

That sealed arrest record will create a bit of a mess – one that Drew wants Portia to stay out of.

Drew won’t want Portia getting caught up in anything that might have legal consequences, especially not when Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is already facing legal woes of her own.

Even so, Portia will be curious about what Marshall’s deal is. She’ll also worry about the hole that’ll be left in Curtis’ heart if Marshall walks out of his life again.

As for Sonny, he’ll raise suspicions when he butts in Curtis’ business.

Sonny may urge Curtis to go easy on Marshall and understand that mental health struggles aren’t easy to tackle.

Curtis won’t get why Sonny’s getting so involved, but Sonny will understand all sides of this feud and will think he might be able to help.

Since Sonny and Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) relationship just shattered, that may give Sonny another reason to help Curtis salvage his own father-son bond.

At the hospital, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will do some investigating.

Dante will pop in someone’s hospital room to look into a crime – and it may be one Dante’s dad ordered.

Sonny made sure those thugs learned a lesson while they were out on bail.

It looks like one of them will show up beaten to a pulp at GH, so Dante will push for answers about who’s responsible.

Naturally, this thug might keep Sonny’s name out of it if he knows what’s good for him!

Then again, he was dumb criminal to even go after Sonny’s establishment in the first place, so maybe he’ll double down and rat Sonny out.

Over with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), it seems he’ll turn to Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) for help.

Ava will point out that it’s never too early to experience the finer things in life, so this might involve some artwork for Violet Finn’s (Jophielle Love) room or something along those lines.

Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will also seem down in the dumps as she talks to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms).

BLQ may be pessimistic about ever getting in sync with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), but Maxie might think they’re making progress despite the constant interruptions and false starts.

Nevertheless, Brook Lynn will say something that throws Maxie for a loop and could perhaps get Maxie thinking about her own romance.

Maxie and Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) haven’t exactly been in sync either – mostly because they can’t seem to line their schedules up for a date night.

After Maxie starts to question Austin’s motives, she may fear he’s blowing her off.

Luckily, Austin still seems quite interested in where this relationship could lead. It’s probably just a matter of carving out the right time to move things along with Maxie.

General Hospital spoilers say Maxie and Brook Lynn both have some romantic surprises in their future, so stay tuned.
