General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, March 16, tease that Jake Webber (Hudson West) seems poised to tell an unexpected truth while Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) faces gunfire in Austria. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will seek proof against Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), so here’s what viewers can expect.
At GH, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) has finally rattled Jake into a confession – though it probably won’t be the one he originally anticipated.
Jake insists he didn’t set the fire in Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) studio, but he still fears Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will never forgive him if he comes clean.
It’s looking like this will be one big fake-out where Jake perhaps admits to drinking or doing drugs.
The show’s been highlighting this whole “Jake’s a teenager, not a child” angle, so they may stick with that theme and make this some typical teen trouble.
Regardless, Jake has been adamant about not tormenting Liz and now seems to be gearing up for a different confession.
On Wednesday’s episode, Liz will give Jake a nudge toward the truth and react to whatever curveball her son throws.
In the meantime, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will have some exciting news to share with Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla).
That should involve an announcement about the new house she’s moving in with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and the promise that Trina will always have a room there if she needs one.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) has been staying at home and avoiding the dorms, so Trina may voice her concerns.
Trina will probably open up about the cabin video chaos and get support from Portia as she continues to fume over Esme’s accusations.
At Spring Ridge, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will fish for answers from Esme.
Spencer will refuse to believe that Trina filmed Josslyn and Cameron Webber (William Lipton), so Esme will ask who else could’ve possibly done this.
Spencer may drop a hint that leads Esme to believe he’s doubting her.
That could lead to some conflict as Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) watches their interaction nearby.
General Hospital spoilers say Ryan will indeed do some spying, so he could get angry with Esme if she lets her emotions get the best of her.
Then again, Ryan might fume at Spencer if he disapproves of the way his daughter’s being treated!
As for Josslyn, she’ll head to a study session that doesn’t go as planned.
There’s a good chance the other students will continue to humiliate Josslyn, especially if she’s spotted with Cameron.
There’s a moment in Wednesday’s preview video where Cameron says they shouldn’t hang out in public together.
Joss and Cam may agree they need to keep their relationship behind closed doors until the storm has passed, but this could turn into a relationship crushing hurricane if they let it!
As for Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), he has to make the plan to dupe Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) seem believable.
Victor just called Drew to set up a meeting, but Drew will act like he’s not interested – even when it’s all part of the scheme.
However, Victor will warn that it’d be a very foolish mistake to ignore him.
Victor will ultimately threaten Drew’s family and set up their meeting time, so Drew will move forward with the next phase of the mission.
Even so, Drew will squeeze in a quick conversation with Carly about Josslyn’s cabin video drama.
Carly will bring Drew up to speed and admit she doesn’t have proof yet, but she’ll intend to get it.
There’s nothing Carly would love more than to sink Esme for derailing Josslyn’s life, but Esme could prove to be a pretty formidable foe.
Back with Drew, he’ll dash off to meet with Victor, but that could mean walking into grave danger.
Victor has decided that if this attempt to reactivate Drew doesn’t work, then he’ll just have to be eliminated entirely!
There’ll also be a dangerous situation in Austria since Victor’s minion is approaching Anna with his gun drawn.
Shots will be fired on Wednesday’s show, but Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) will help Anna tackle the crisis.
It looks like Felicia will throw hot coffee in the guy’s face – and soon after, Anna will knock him to the floor.
