General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, September 28, teases Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) secret will be out while Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) makes a disturbing discovery. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will also get pushy with Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), so here’s what fans can look forward to.
First, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will have a special request for someone.
That could be Selina Wu (Lydia Look) if Curtis dares to ask for a favor, but that could mean sinking even deeper into mob drama.
Another option is if Curtis requests genetic counseling since GH spoilers hint he may do an about-face on that.
It’s looking like Curtis may want to know more about his genetic history after all – just to be on the safe side considering Marshall Ashford’s (Robert Gossett) diagnosis.
Curtis’ change of heart could potentially tie in with Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) own pursuit of answers.
Portia reached out to a specialist to learn more about Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) paternal line, so there’s the potential for Curtis to discover that at some point.
In the meantime, Michael will discover that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) is in trouble – and he won’t be happy about it!
Dex secretly works for Michael, but he’s about to face Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) wrath since Sonny is technically his boss, too.
Sonny will make sure Dex is tied up at Pozzulo’s, so his hands will be above his head as he’s roughed up a bit.
The goal will be to find out whether Dex is really innocent in the hook investigation.
Dex will frantically try to convince Sonny that he’s not some deranged murderer.
Although Dex will wonder what it’ll take to make Sonny believe him, Sonny may not be sure just yet.
However, Dex will say and do enough of the right things to keep himself alive – and that’s a win when you’re dealing with an angry Sonny.
Michael will end up barging in and blasting Sonny over this hostage situation, but he’ll have to be careful.
Sonny won’t think this is any of Michael’s business and may wonder why he suddenly cares about what happens to Dex.
At the police station, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will offer Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) proof – though it may not be as solid as the detective would like.
Even so, Josslyn might argue that she saw first-hand how hard Dex fought to keep Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) alive.
Why would Dex do that if he attacked Ava in the first place?
Dex also went dumpster-diving to hunt for Avery Corinthos’ (Ava and Grace Scarola) bracelet, so Josslyn may think he’s a good guy at his core.
Dante might still have some suspicions, but Joss will insist he’s got the wrong guy.
At GH, Trina will get some shocking updates when she visits Ava.
Although Ava felt deeply betrayed by Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), she’s still thinking about taking him back and moving back in Wyndemere.
Trina may be taken aback by some parts of the story – though Ava may not admit every last detail!
As for Trina, she’ll keep Ava posted on her love life developments, but Ava may not think it’s so bad to have multiple guys to choose from.
Trina is sticking with Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) for now, but that doesn’t mean she’s completely put Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) in the rearview mirror.
Ava may sense that and urge Trina to think about what she truly wants.
Next, Spinelli will endure another grilling session about the secrets he’s keeping.
Sam will manage to score some form of a confession from Spinelli, so we’ll see what he shares about Society Setups, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and perhaps his own crush on Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms).
Meanwhile, Cody will tell someone to stay out of his way, so that could be Maxie since she’ll be singing Mac Scorpio’s (John J. York) praises.
Maxie will want Cody to see Mac’s softer side, but it could be a hard sell – at least until he really gets to know Mac for himself.
In the midst of all this, Cody may get confirmation that Mac is possibly his biological father.
Maxie will talk to Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) about how relieved she is that everything’s out in the open, but that should add to Austin’s guilt about his own secrets.
Austin will have a hush-hush meeting with Mason (Nathanyael Grey) soon, so he’ll still be keeping things under wraps.
General Hospital spoilers say Austin may regret leaving Maxie in the dark down the road.
