General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of August 15-19 tease that a missing Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) investigation will heat up while Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) have a physical fight. Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will also face an alarming memory, so there’ll be some big stuff happening in Port Charles.
For starters, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will exchange introductions with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and get a bad vibe right off the bat.
Cam may warn Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) that Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) latest hire is bad news.
Over with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), they’ll hope their plan to wake Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno) up faster works.
Oz could rat Esme out and play a crucial role in helping clear Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) name.
However, it looks like Trina’s verdict will come in before evidence can be found to exonerate her.
Trina’s fate will be revealed in court, so she’ll anxiously await the jury’s decision.
Sonny and Dex will be eager to learn the outcome as well, especially since they resorted to jury tampering.
After Sonny treats Nina to a romantic date, he’ll grill Dex about his history.
Brick (Stephen A. Smith) may pass along some surprising info due to his deep dive into Dex’s background.
Other GH spoilers say Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will quiz Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) about Esme’s vanishing act – and Jordan will look into her disappearance as well.
Jordan will still want to take Esme down for setting Trina up, but she’ll have to find her first.
That could lead to questions about what Nikolas and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) might be trying to hide.
It turns out Nikolas and Ava will partner with someone surprising for protection.
It wouldn’t be shocking if Victor wound up being their ally, so maybe Ava and Nikolas will team up with someone else.
As for Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), she’ll pick up on the fact that Carly’s friendship with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is veering into romantic territory.
Olivia will launch a discussion with Carly and push for answers about her true feelings.
At GH, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will face a crushing blow.
The bone marrow biopsy results should come in and confirm that Willow has leukemia.
Willow will confide her fears in TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow), who may give her the nudge to tell Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) ASAP.
Back with Carly and Nina, they’ll have another major showdown.
This one will get physical, so look for Nina and Carly to resort to slapping or perhaps even punching each other.
Although Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will push Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) to give Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) another shot, Britt will pump the brakes.
We’ll see Britt launch a confrontation with Cody and perhaps push for answers first.
Between Cody’s past and this whole blackmail situation with Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), he’s definitely got some things to hide.
Britt may insist she needs honesty if Cody really wants a chance to win her over.
Meanwhile, it seems Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) will get another visit from a menacing face.
The guy who showed up on The Haunted Star to threaten Austin was actually his cousin, Mason (Nathanyael Grey), so more family drama is on the horizon.
Austin will push Mason to respect boundaries, but their mutual boss is the one running the show and may override the doc’s wishes.
Elsewhere, Elizabeth will face another memory trigger. It should help Liz remember something else from her childhood – something that’ll definitely rattle her.
Afterward, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will feel like it’s time to contact someone from Liz’s history.
There’s a good chance that’ll be Liz’s father, Jeff Webber (last played by Richard Dean Anderson), but Liz may flip out over Finn’s decision.
