General Hospital Spoilers: Week of January 17 Update – Carly’s Surprise Visitor - Tracy’s Haunted Star Bombshell

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for the week of January 17-21 teases that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) will face a bombshell on The Haunted Star – and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will get a surprise visitor. Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will also carry out a sad search for peace, so here’s what GH fans can expect.

At The Savoy, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will recap what he knows about his father so far.

Curtis will explain to Laura Collins (Genie Francis) that Marshall Ashford (Donnell Turner) got mixed up with criminals and left his family to protect them.

Laura was in hiding up until recently, so she’ll understand Marshall’s point of view. Laura will think Curtis will eventually have to face the truth and accept that Marshall’s decision came from a place of love.

Nevertheless, it’ll be hard for Curtis to just let bygones be bygones – especially when Marshall hasn’t revealed the mysterious player who was threatening him.

Curtis will team up with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) again, so they may make some progress when it comes to figuring out who was behind all the drama.

That mob baddie could still be a problem in the present, especially since we know Brick (Stephen A. Smith) will fill Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in on a new threat.

In the meantime, Sasha will find herself searching for some sort of peace.

Sasha doesn’t seem keen on leaning on Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) or anyone else, so she may make things harder by shutting the world out.

Sasha might visit a small gravestone that’s been made for Liam Corbin or something along those lines.

That might bring the potential for Sasha to cross paths with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) if she’s visiting her own dead baby’s grave.

Whatever the case, Sasha will continue to have a hard time coping with her grief. Speaking of grief, most of Port Charles is still in mourning over Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) demise.

There’ll be a wake on The Haunted Star, which will allow Luke’s loved ones to come together and remember him.

Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) will accept that Luke is gone, but she won’t want to speak at this event. She’ll leave most of the talking to Tracy, which is good since Tracy is never short on words!

Tracy will memorialize Luke in her own curmudgeonly yet lovable way and will get a big surprise before the wake winds down.

That could tie in with the mystery that’s set to kick off. There’ll be a new story tied to this farewell to Luke, so Tracy may get the first clue.

Of course, we should note that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) arranged for the cable car crash, but that doesn’t mean Luke really died in that accident.

There’s always a chance that Luke’s death was faked since Victor just needed a plan to neutralize him.

Regardless, more drama is on the horizon – and that goes for Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) marriage to Sonny, too.

Carly’s going to get a visitor she wasn’t expecting, so who could that be? Perhaps Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) will find out about the problems in Sonny and Carly’s marriage getting worse.

If Phyllis learns Carly moved out and sees how much Sonny is struggling, she might speak to Carly and put in a good word for him.

After Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) moves in her new place with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), they’ll settle in with “Bailey Quartermaine” aka Louise August (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt) and act all domesticated.

There’ll be some cute family moments, but Brook Lynn will also face a troubling shocker a little later.

Brook Lynn will hear something that spooks her, so this could tie in with some revenge rumblings and leave her leaning on Chase more than ever before.

Chase may promise to protect Brook Lynn and “Bailey” no matter what, but even a trained officer of the law may be no match for the storm that’s brewing!

Over with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), she’ll do an about-face on a decision she’s made.

Will Alexis face more doubts about her job at The Invader and once again need some tough love from Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel)?

Next, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will take stock of where things stand between them.

It sounds like Valentin and Anna may keep moving in a romantic direction, so that’s exciting for “Vanna” fans.

As for Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton), they’ll face some stunning updates.

It’s possible this will relate to Liz’s wedding ring mystery and that potential gaslighting situation.

On the other hand, there’s always a chance there’ll be some news about Jeff Webber (last played by Richard Dean Anderson). One way or another, Liz is going to get quite a shock along with Cameron.

Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will also get a reminder of the past and may feel rather haunted as a result.

Whether this is about Peter August (Wes Ramsey) or perhaps something that went down with Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig), Finn will have a lot on his mind.

Finally, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will create more issues when she objects to the Pautauk trip Anna suggested – mainly because Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) is supposed to go as well.

Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) will grill Maxie about her reluctance and will end up seeking Austin out to question him, too.

Maxie will hold out hope that Austin won’t remember too much on this upcoming trip, but that seems like wishful thinking!

General Hospital spoilers say the week of January 17-21 will bring some excellent story movement, so stay tuned!
