General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for the week of July 11-15 teases that Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will fail with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) while Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) chases a lead. Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) news will also stun Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), so here’s what viewers can look forward to.
Port Charles will celebrate the Fourth of July a little late, but there’ll still be some exciting fireworks and other activities – like Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Austin Gatlin-Holt’s (Roger Howarth) picnic in the park.
However, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will join what was supposed to be a romantic outing, so Austin and Maxie’s night won’t go as expected.
Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) will derail this picnic as well and will apparently get on Maxie’s bad side by criticizing Austin.
Of course, Austin deserves a little criticism since he’s hiding things from Maxie and sneaking around.
The same mystery guy from the Pautuck woods will bicker with Austin over the phone, but Austin will remind him that they had a deal and will push him to stick to it.
As for Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), he’ll get under Britt’s skin about their Society Setups match.
That was apparently part of Cody’s agreement with Spinelli, but Britt will remain out of the loop on that part and will get roped into a reluctant date.
After Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) exhausts almost all options, she’ll suddenly face a big twist in the Metro Court situation.
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will pay for Carly’s half and offer it to her, but Carly will have no intention of taking it.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will quiz Nina about her motives after Carly’s wrath is unleashed. This will cause some anger for Sonny as well, so Nina will face a setback in their romance.
At the boxing gym, Sonny will find a sparring partner in Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) as well as a sympathetic ear.
Dante will get updates on Sonny’s fight with Nina and perhaps give his dad a nudge toward patching things up.
Elsewhere, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will get a new attorney ahead of her trial. Diane Jenkins (Carolyn Hennesy) will become Trina’s lawyer the morning court is set to be in session.
Trina will contemplate ratting Spencer out as her cemetery alibi, so she’ll confide in Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and get some guidance.
Joss will push Trina to stay out of prison by any means necessary, even if that means Spencer gets in trouble.
Other GH spoilers say Brando will work to get through to Sasha.
Following Sasha’s 72-hour psychiatric hold, Brando will hope she has a clear enough head to see that she needs help. Sasha could benefit from rehab or maybe even a stint in Shadybrook.
However, Sasha will blow off Brando’s attempts to help her and will think Deception is what they need to be worried about.
Brando will try to relax in the steam room with TJ, but he won’t be able to get his Sasha concerns off his mind.
Back with Nina, she’ll cross paths with someone at the cemetery.
Both Sasha and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) have deceased children to visit, so one of them will likely show up graveside while Nina’s there.
Curtis will chase a lead that could get Trina off the hook, so that may involve trying to find that bartender who could point to Esme’s guilt.
Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) will pitch in, so that’ll give him a chance to grow closer to Curtis.
Spencer will move forward with his plot to save Trina, so he’ll deliver some shocking news to Esme.
It sounds like Spencer will offer Esme the opportunity to learn who her biological mom is like he planned,
That could raise Esme’s suspicions since Spencer’s “facts” may not line up with what Esme’s learned from Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom).
Esme will eventually realize Spencer has been playing her and supports Trina, but he’ll focus on locking in a confession for Trina’s sake.
Over with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), he’ll struggle to reconnect with Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) while Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) tries to succeed where Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) failed.
Valentin chickened out of drugging Laura, so Victor will work to get her out of Port Charles another way.
Laura will fall for a trap involving her mother, so it appears she’ll leave PC to go be with ailing Lesley Webber (Denise Alexander) for now.
