General Hospital Spoilers: Week of October 17 – Ava’s Esme Baby Fury – Holly’s Shocking Return – Carly & Drew’s Turning Point

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of October 17-21 teases that we’ll see Ava Jerome Cassadine’s (Maura West) Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) baby fury while Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) makes a shocking return. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will also face a turning point, so let’s talk about what’s ahead.

For starters, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will have multiple reasons to worry due to Lucy Coe’s (Lynn Herring) tight spot and the trouble Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will land in with Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy).

Meanwhile, Esme will end up in a position where she’s forced to defend herself.

We’ll see Esme’s relief – perhaps if she feels like she’s going to avoid legal consequences due to her bun in the oven.

However, that relief won’t last long since Esme could face punishment another way.

Ava will corner Nikolas for answers, so she may find out about the pregnancy and wonder how Nik could let something like this happen.

Ava will surely take her turn ripping into Esme eventually, but let’s talk about a different confrontation in the meantime.

Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) was offended when Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) dragged her bartending career, but they’ll try to patch things up.

At Pentonville, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will approach Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) once again with an offer for him to consider.

If the danger surrounding Spencer grows, he may be tempted to take Cyrus up on his protection and provide something in return.

Next, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will get into a heated argument with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), who might go along with or at least mull over Valentin’s latest ELQ proposal.

Ned may feel betrayed and put Michael on full blast as a result.

After Carly finishes soul-searching and finds peace in Jacksonville, she’ll focus on the future – one that should include Drew.

This trip should mark a turning point where Drew and Carly move forward romantically.

As for Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), she’ll get updates on her legal drama and what’s next with her guardianship now that Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) is dead.

Over with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), he’ll speak with Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) again and perhaps wonder if any new hook memories have come back to her.

Will Diane remember anything else about the mystery woman under the hood?

Holly Sutton will finally make her long-awaited comeback, so the timing of all this is interesting.

GH spoilers say Holly will return right as the hook investigation heats up and potentially provides some shocking revelations.

Anna will meet up with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) to do some brainstorming, so that suggests we’ll see some storyline collisions.

Victor will also quiz Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), who happens to be the link at the center of all the attack targets.

Elsewhere, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will get an unfortunate reminder of something in her past.

Could Brook Lynn get in “The Hook’s” way and be reminded of when Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) sliced her throat open?

Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Sasha will grow worried, so that could be due to an MIA Brook Lynn.

Whatever the case, Victor will ultimately feel like he’s achieved a real triumph.

That could be due to a successful project – maybe even one involving mind control since that was always a big interest of Victor’s.

The week will wind down with a shocked Holly, so we’ll see what exactly shocks her.

Could Holly be “The Hook” and have no say in her actions due to Victor’s programming?

Regardless, Holly’s return will shake up the canvas and bring some fun for fans. As other GH news comes in, we’ll keep you posted.
