In tonight’s Masterchef Junior episode, the kids come in to see a chef spinning pizza dough. He is a pro with a toss roughly 20 feet in the air. Gordon and the other chefs come out to announce the kids will enjoy a pizza parlor theme where they will make pizzas as a challenge. They will break into teams of three. Before they start they are shown a few tips and tricks by Daphne.

The kids break into three teams. They get to work on the first challenge – how many pizzas can each team make in 15 minutes. There is a lot of chaos throughout the challenge with everyone running around The red team seems to be doing well with the white team struggling. Freddy yells at his teammates for not adding corn meal. The challenge comes to an end.

The judges review the pizzas. The red team has 12 completed pizzas. The others are not cooked or acceptable. The white team is up next. The white has 10 pizzas. It appears the red team is safe. Its now time for the green team to show their pizzas. After examining what they have, they are deemed safe. The white team must now face a challenge to try and save themselves.

The white team opens their mystery boxes to find blindfolds. They then put the blindfolds on and taste a dish Gordon cooked. They now need to replicate it.

They are given 45 minutes to make the same dish. The team individually works on their own dishes. The dish was salmon with vegetables. Gordon helps Freedy out by pointing out he grabbed trout to cook.

The judges make their rounds. Ivy has everything cooking and under control. Freddy is missing apples. Some of the junior chefs are missing key elements. It is times up. Gordon shows them what he made, salmon with couscous, capers and vegetables with a brown butter sauce.

Freddy brings his dish up first. His salmon is cooked well but he is missing flavoring. He is also missing vegetables. Freddy is disappointed. Liya goes up next. Her salmon and capers are great. She added mayo to her couscous. This wasn’t great but the judges love her effort. A’dan comes up next. His salmon skin is great but he is missing vegan and has added grapes. Ivy brings up an excellent dish. Tegan arrives with her dish. Her salmon is overcooked and she is missing vegetables.
