The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri) may choose Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) over Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle). This could lead to the Forrester family celebrating Dad’s custody win, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
During the week of August 15-19, Thomas will get the support of his family when it comes to his Douglas plans. Since Douglas is obviously feeling rather neglected by his father, Thomas wants to change that and ensure they spend plenty of time together.
Thomas already mentioned the idea of Douglas moving in with him at the Forrester mansion. Of course, that would put Douglas closer to Grandpa Eric Forrester (John McCook) as well.
You can bet Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will love the thought of Douglas feeling like a bigger part of the Forrester family.
Thomas will be bolstered by his family’s confidence and will try to sell Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) on all this. Now that Thomas is in a good place mentally, he’ll hope to give Douglas more love and get primary custody of his son.
Hope will remain reluctant to let Douglas go, but she’ll ultimately realize he’s old enough to decide what he wants. In the end, it looks like Thomas and Hope will agree to leave this huge decision in Douglas’ hands.
During the week of August 22-26, Douglas will have to answer a significant question. Hope and Thomas will anxiously await Douglas’ answer, so they may sit him down and explain that he’s got a choice to make about where he mainly lives.
Douglas has definitely been torn up about not being together with Thomas as much as he’d like. It makes sense that Douglas will choose to live with Thomas, especially since that creates the most drama and can keep the story going.
Hope’s going to be heartbroken if that’s indeed what Douglas decides, but she’ll no doubt accept the outcome. Meanwhile, Thomas and the Forresters should be tickled pink over the custody victory, which could be set in motion by Douglas’ crucial decision.
Hope and Thomas may legally change their agreement based on what Douglas chooses, so this could be a game-changer that really cements Douglas’ status as a Forrester again. We’ll provide updates as other B&B news becomes available.
