The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Jack Finnegan (Ted King) seem poised to have an emotional reunion. Will this son forgive his father after his faked death is revealed?
Jack was devastated over Finn’s deadly shooting outcome, especially since they weren’t on good terms when it happened.
Ever since Jack lost Finn, he’s felt adrift and alone – particularly since Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) pushed him away.
Finn was furious when he found out Jack had lied to him his entire life, so their bond was severely fractured.
It’s easy to see why Finn was upset since Jack hid the truth about being his biological father.
Finn grew up wondering about his roots and had no idea his adoptive dad was actually his bio dad. What kind of messed-up family secret is that?!
The fact that Jack cheated on Li with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) added fuel to the fire – and since Finn is definitely a mama’s boy, he understandably sided with his adoptive mom.
However, a lot has happened since that shocking truth came out.
Finn’s survival may be a game-changer in more ways than one and make everyone see that life’s too short to hold grudges.
After enduring all this Sheila horror, Finn may get Jack’s perspective a bit better.
Perhaps Finn will decide Jack was simply doing his best to keep Sheila out of the picture. Finn could certainly never fault Jack for that at this point.
Regardless, Finn has made it back from the brink of death. Jack never thought he’d see his son again, but he’ll have a second chance to make things right with him.
Maybe there’ll be so much joy on both sides that Jack and Finn choose to let the past go.
Finn always looked up to his father, so it’d be great if they could fix what’s broken and move forward as a family.
With any luck, Jack might be able to patch things up with Li as well.
Even if Li and Jack can’t get their marriage back on track, they could at least come together as Finn’s parents and friends.
Finn’s been having warm reunions all around since he was found alive then found Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) in Monaco and returned to Los Angeles.
Jack should be one of those reunions eventually, so some heartfelt B&B scenes should be looming.
